Well Thief series got 75%, Metro'll be happy. Looking like nothing for me today unless I buy Fortune Summoners because I want to be a little girl.

:yeah:

Silly Morgoth wanting me to buy them at only 33% off.

I bought Ys: The Oath of Felghana and Fortune Summoners since I already have Recettear and the other 3rd game in the pack looks like shit anyway. I'll also get Ys: Origin when it's cheapter. And these are the first games I got from this sale so far.

So far I've only gotten Portal 2, Two Worlds 2 bundle, Shoot Many Robots, Thief Gold, and Thief 2. Only dailies/flash deals I'm hoping for at this point is one on Rune and Beyond Good and Evil.

You have the choice not to give them your money. That would be a good start to stop the decline.
Not buying shit console port cover shooters like Max Payne 3 or Binary Domain would help too.
We are all part of the decline.

I liked the first one more, but they are both great games, in my opinion. Second one is meh-ish.
More or less this. COP is more polished, but SOC has the best atmosphere. CS is the weakest but still has good points, and it's brutally hard early on compared to the other 2. If they're all together in a bundle it's worth getting it and at least playing SOC and COP, though I'd play all 3.

Call of Pripyat is beckoning me. I hear it's the best of the series?
Indeed. It's relatively fun, the STALKER games, until you realise that it's horribly missing a lot of mechanics that would make it so much better. Some proper RPG mechanics, even if it is levelling laterally. Some proper diplomacy. Faction warfare that actually means something. Etcetera.

Buy it just for the atmosphere. The STALKER series, especially the first one (but that might just be a case of first exposure) has some of the best in game atmosphere ever; it rivals Morrowind in scenic atmosphere.

Agreed with that. I played through SOC (with Complete mod). Installed COP and started to play but... just got sidetracked and no real urge to go back. SOC has a nice atmosphere and is a solid FPS but the game itself has a lot of design flaws and isn't anything exceptional. I'll never understand why it has a cult following. They are, at best, incomplete efforts.

If anyone got the Activision Bundle or got War for Cybertron, I would appreciate a co-op buddy (or two, it's 3 player co-op). I have had it for a while, got sidetracked, but would love to play again. Tag me or whatever.

Terraria's up again. Even though the developers have moved on it's still a great deal for $2.50 if you like Metroidvania mixed with building/exploration.
