Classic Total Wars released on Steam:

Shogun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/345240/

It's been on sale on Gamersgate for quite a while now. Medieval, though, is good news.

I have a boxed copy of Shogun and replayed it a few years ago and remember having to install some patch to fix the graphics (the colors were all scrambled) to be able to play on modern OS. Don't know if it's the same with this versions.

Rome 2 lagged on my 980GTX and i7-4970k. It's a piece of shit. Too bad I bought it long before the refund system.

There are still people that don't have L4D2 even after they gave it away free?

Just like CS:GO, it's probably people who got banned for hacking and bought them with a new account.

Is Total War Rome II shitty?
It's a popamole grand strategy and as someone who never really cared much for the series and have no emotional weight attached to it I kinda enjoyed it for a single full campaign. I never tried it on launch and when I did the performance and bugs (apart from occasional AI brainfreeze) were fixed. Some of the mechanics are really dumb and it features one of the worst UIs I ever saw in a game of this kind. More of my impressions http://rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/rome-total-war-ii.73776/page-83#post-3792569

And don't buy any dlc, they don't improve the game in any way, just add more factions and mini campaigns and you won't play more than 1-2 campaigns anyway.

The funny thing is that I've bought it for friends but I actually do not own the game because it does not interest me.

A friend of mine on Steam said the Gamersgate version of Shogun has issues but the Steam version works fine on modern systems.

It was a fun multiplayer/party game for its time. The community now is pretty trash.
I also belong to the group of people who don't have L4D2, even though I have quite a few games there.

I got it from Cheap Ass Gamer forum where the guy said reddit users were saying it's a Steam key. Third hand info but... w/e it's a $1 for burn victims or kids with cancer or some shady charity front.

Yeah, it's something worth spending a dollar on, no matter where the game is to be redeemed.

June 22 is technically summer and don't muslims have a shitty calendar and can't tell time and blow themselves up, so they might not understand astronomy? Muslims never did anything with astronomy, right?atriot:
June 22nd is not technically summer. What determines summer is the change in season not the date

It was the first game I bought on Steam, before I learned you don't buy steam games at full price

"Full price" for :ehue: is still a fraction of what we're used to pay, Gaben's unending generosity is wasted on ingrates. :d1p:

one of my hobbies during summer/winter sales is to trawl the forums for "I BOUGHT THIS GAME 1 HOUR AGO AND NOW IT'S HALF PRICE" threads, never gets old

Oddly enough Fallout 4 is immune to this generosity. Is it a heathen game before His eyes?

R$250 instead of R$130 llike all other AAA

Nuuvem has a big sale going on for the next two weeks. Prices are in reais (1 R$ = roughly 0.32 US$, 0.29 €), and there have already been a fair amount of lowest historical prices. Mostly Steam and uPlay keys, and several game pages have had "DRM/Ativação Necessária" sections added in the last few hours to make it clear what you're getting, so be sure to check that.

They recently redesigned the site, and you should be able to purchase anything that shows up for you without a proxy. (There are still region-specific deals; they're just set not to display for IP addresses outside of South America now.)
