Yo, MHC, I just found that new weapon slot item the demoman pirate boot. Think I could get Binding of Isaac/Dredmore/$5 game for it or is that unreasonable. It's new so I figure people want it but don't know if it's craftable. Unfortunately with the forum ban only place I could find people is a trade server and I don't know of any.

Looks like there's no specific recipe for it yet, but it sells for $2.50 in the store, so you wouldn't get a $5 game out of it I wager.

And I also don't know of any trade servers. I know such things exist but I've never been to any.

Opposing Force is very good, and I actually prefer it in some ways to the original Half-Life. Not really as memorable, obviously, but playing with the different guns and fighting different enemies is a lot of fun, and some of the new game mechanics are at the very least interesting. Heck, it's even fairly lengthy provided you don't run through it as quick as you can. Compared to modern-day add-ons, it's a reminder of a time when even the expansion pack to a shooter could be a drastic and entertaining departure from the status quo, instead of some bullshit map pack or two-hour snore-fest that adds absolutely nothing new. Hell, it's even got it's own distinct multiplayer mode that some people still play.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

So stupid. Such a worthless piece of shit offer. Heroes of Might and Magic V for 5 EUROs. "Great", thinks Grunker. "I'll definetely pick that up." Before I do so, however, I find out it's ONLY the core game - none of the expansions. Why the fuck would anyone ever want to buy HoMMV without the fucking expansions?

That offer makes no sense.

Also: HoMMV + Expansions is more expensive that HoMMV + Expansions + Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. About 10 euros more expensive, actually.

Half off Dawn of War today, finally can pick up the missing DLC. I'm also tempted to grab the Max Payne bundle for $3.74.

The worst thing about that Heroes sale was that the entire bundle, including Dark Messiah, was on sale a while back for like $10 or something.

I wanted to pick up the Dawn of War II expansions, but seriously, only 50% off? Are you fucking kidding me, THQ? Yeah, I know that Dawn of War is your PC cash cow because the rest of your games fucking suck, but holy shit, Chaos Rising has been out for like 2 years already and you're still charging $20 for it? These sale prices are no better than the sale over 6 months ago. To top it off, you don't even get much of a discount if you buy the complete pack, nor do you get the DLC. For making such a big deal over it with a free weekend and all that, this deal they're offering is remarkably shitty.

I guess that angry letter I sent their customer service department last time didn't have much effect after all. :'(

Retribution is shit. You are better off plating Main story + Chaos rising.

I'd buy that for a dollar. Possibly 5.

Stacking and Trenched are more my speed though.

$14.99 USD. I've read decent things about it and there were some nice comments in a previous codex thread. I'm going to wait until the end of year, see if it goes lower. I'm really not very good at platformers.

Hmm, should i get Batman from Steam? I get 20% off cause i got the Asylum game, but i dunno. When I think about it i got the Arkham Asylum in a Eidos pack(20+games for 50 euros) during the christmas sale. So it may be worth wait another month instead of giving them 40 euros now. Choices choices what to do

Anybody got any of the new Worms games? Any fun?

They apparently lowered that since there were enterprising people getting $100+ $5 at a time.
