Dead Space 2 is RPG? First one was (little boring) action game...

So was the first Witcher.

I don't think so. RP in RPG stands for Role Playing. For me, role playing is about (for example) dialogues w/ consequences on later gameplay, not just killing aliens and buying ammo. Diablo is not RPG as well. It's fantasy action game with some personal statistics. But I like it anyway :)

Ok, I thought I wouldn't have to say this: He was being ironic.

Sometimes I have troubles to understand what is irony in language I can barely speak ;)

Anyone know how they are going to be working the starting over angle?

The memory loss in Witcher I was never explained and they probably can't use the same angle in WII.

It seems you're going to be given access to already quite levelled-up Geralt with basic-medium sword attacks and some signs ready at your disposal

Here's the jewtube link to first 15 minutes into the game video (Polish with English subtitles):

Part1

Part 2

Brace yourself for bad quality (really CDProjekt? Shame on you!)

As for the memory loss thing, I recall reading somewhere that this arch will be explored in this game. Depending on your choices you will learn the full truth behind it... or not. That's what devs said, but after so many fuckups by other developers I find it hard to believe they could pull it off.

Consolized inventory if I ever saw one. Needlessly large paper doll, a list that only displays nine items at a time, that text box taking up space in the corner there, and "Press and hold BACK button to display pad help." It'll be even funnier if the port doesn't happen.
Worn pants
But doesn't he look like the first Geralt? Isn't it an inventory from a console version of the first Witcher? The one, they have called off, because of incompetent Frenchmen or whatever.

That's a placeholder inventory. Gametrailers has a series of pre-beta vids with a different inventory:

The craziest thing about this game is, the graphics would qualify for decent quality CGI movies in most games, but it's actually in-game graphics. Best looking cRPG ever? Yes.

Let's hope everything in TW2 is as high quality as the outlook.
