What's truly crazy is that in the first two books, aka the only decent once, Ciri appears like once. Then the Ciri-centric books begin and shit steadily gets worse and worse, with her becoming ever more of a shithead because the one lesbian character is a rapist who starts routinely raping her (plus a couple dozen more weird scenarios the author puts her through) and things only getting better and Ciri halfway tolerable right at the end when her 'girlfriend' is long dead and she's gallivating around with her new boyfriend, a literal arthurian knight.

Like, no joke. If those people had actually read those books 1) i'd have an ounce of respect for them for actually going through that sea of shit and 2) they'd have boycotted this game series day one harder than Hogwarts (also because, actually, there's also Philippa in there representing the lesbians, and she sells her ass to the spymaster guy for profit)

I enjoyed W3, but I don't really care about it enough to get in a rage about W4. Its not like CPR would bounce back and be making an amazing W4.

I don't think Gerralt character was that important. Both Ciri and Witcher Gerralt are a bit boring. I think it would have been an improvement TBH if they got shot of all the tedious cutscenes and story, and instead of Gerralt, have the option to design your own Witcher.

Just swapping out Ciri with Gerralt is probably just going to limit the game play a little bit more if anything. I also wonder if they will force you to play as a "good guy" a bit more.

I too have noticed how women in western games come out looking like they've had facial work done, instead of being natural beauties. Why do they always overdo the cheekbones and give the women low eyebrows? Sometimes low foreheads too.

Also, Eastern European women are some of the most egoistic, brazenly mercantile and unsophisticated women to walk the Earth, they destroy you the moment the sense any weakness and have no concept of loyalty. Here, the only way to surtive is to assume every woman is a self-interested worthless whore. Euro-chuds really misusing the term "DEI" lately, I've noticed.

Geralt's story was over and choosing Ciri as the protagonist of a rebooted Witcher series was a pretty intuitive direction to go that many people expected. That's not DEI. You can be upset that she isn't hawt enough in the trailer, but that's not DEI either.

DEI would be if they gave Geralt a black best friend all of a sudden, or race-swapped Dandelion, or something like that.
