"C'mon, Volourn, I know you're fan of Bioware games and I'm fine with that, as I find them quite enjoyable, but you have to admit they're predictable beyond belief.
I have a little theory of my own, that they have one template and they're making their stories by just changing a few variables here and there. Everything that I've played just proves it"
Nope. Proves nothing of the sort. It proves that BIO sticks with what they ahve been successful with. NWN, KOTOR, ME, JE, BG, and BG2 all share similarities but they all are different. How else do you explain that some people hate NWN but like KOTOR or like NWN and hate KOTOR?
Hell, some people hate NWN1 OC yet love HOTU despite HOTU being NWN's expansion pack.
So, nope, not the same games.
Sure, there's no doubt, like *any* company they have certain things they want in their gamnes - mostly because those are what people who buy their games want. This is why they have romances. They tried them in BG2, and people (overall) loved them hence why they keep with it. It's called giving the fans what they fuckin' want.
It's the reason why BIo is still in business and Troika isn't. BIO makes games for the fans (well the $ but you do that by making soemthing people actually want); and Troika didn't.
Fans = 1
Troika = 0
Of course, so far CDP has done what they needed to be successful. Why? They made a game people want to play. *shrug* And, there's no doubt CDP will stick with what works too.
