Helping the Scoia'tael in Act III does not create the same commitment to their cause, though.
You've broken the king's peace and turned outlaw at this point siding against both the King's officials and the Order. Unbeknownst to you, you helped Yaevinn fund the riot in Vizima that burned half the city. You could reason you have no commitment to their cause, but it's only due to the plot armor Geralt gets as a luxury. Realistically, to everyone else they'd know you went in the bank, and they'd know you disappeared with the robbers. You'd be hanged if you ever returned to Vizima.
