Watched the new vid, and my god that whole thing is so badly on rails. Maybe it "opens up" later on, and the "ghost", "opportunist" and "predator" things at the end of the mission would actually mean something, but that was so on rails that if you had a gun you'd be basically chained to a slowly moving platform killing platoons of dumbfuck AI. But of course since there's no gun and instead you have "sneaking action" and omg lockpicking, it shouldn't garner quite as much rage as it would if it were a generic cinematic shooter.
I mean, was there a different path to take during all of this? If so, I didn't see it. Yeah, maybe use a water arrow one time less or more, maybe knock out one more guard for personal convenience, but that's about it. One guard walking predictable loop over and over, cinematic scripted blabber, wow, sure does look good. Also liked how in the starting sequence, after extinguishing the fire, "Garrett" uses the pick on the wall, makes quite a thud, and the "enraged" smith or what have you just goes "Ah, must've been nothing" and turns off alert mode. Yeah, sounds, what's that for.
