Though i'm not a backer i'll look forward to the Wasteland 3. Hope InXile got some experience since their first kickstarter game.

Fargo has money, Wasteland 2 was profitable, other KS projects were funded, he accepts publishers... and yet he wants the money of the players 3-4 years ahead? Totally agree with the fan Bubbles cited. This is a horrible, horrible preorder scheme at best now.

Isn't it what mister Fargo said after WL2 campaing? That he will use the crowdfunding model from now on?

If the tight t-shirts are any indication, it looks like we've already achieved the "Fargo's Pecs" stretch goal.

I mean, BA-boom!

Sounds shitty. Also the problem is... he isn't. He is actually getting a lot of money from publishers. You know, those evil people who make crowdfunding necessary in the first place.

Why not take advantage of everyone? Free money!

Don't know why Codexers are so horrified that people like Fargo and Uruqhart are doing what people in their position have always done. Are people really that naive to believe they do this for the 'love of the gaemz' alone? They have their own lives to look after through this and employees etc. As one gets older, one doesn't want to scratch around for the next paycheck either. It's why most of our 'heroes' eventually sell out(unless they somehow strike it so big early enough on to actually do a project for the fun alone).

He definitely said that in some video. And they might get a lot of from publishers, but we can be rest assured that InXile will drink from the crowdfunding well till the last.

Also there is a big deal in Fig promotion (seems also one of the goals of WL3 campaign). Even if InXile sinks, its head will keep doing money on games. And that sounds like a good investment for mr. Fargo and the best on Fig. )

Russian's Planet Alcatraz 2. Don't know if it was ever released in other languages.

I pledged 33 euros/dollars/bottlecaps. I know, I know still waiting on both Torment and Bard's Tale. Wasteland 2 was fun to play, after they patched it and I'm not in particular hurry to get the game. If I can help them to make the game better, so be it. At least they are not overly optimistic about the release date this time around...

The Bischoff guy who made Stasis has contributed some of the environmental concept art that WL3 is using for this campaign. And now they are including Stasis as a bonus for early backers in the campaign.

Because Underrail is also a bonus option, are we to infer that Styg will also be somehow tangentially involved with WL3 development?

No, we don't know yet whether Styg is involved with this game.
