I get the impression that the Bischoff guy who made Stasis has contributed some of the environmental concept art that WL3 is using for this campaign. And now they are including Stasis as a bonus for early backers in the campaign.

Because Underrail is also a bonus option, are we to infer that Styg will also be somehow tangentially involved with WL3 development?

Retarded answer, yes.

Fixed.

Styg is designing the cavern system.

The initial rush is over, it's starting to stall out now. Let's hope that Japan and Australia will pick up the slack in a few hours.

$200k in the first two hours, maybe $400-500k for the first day. Still a long way from that $2.75m though...

Really liked Wasteland 2. Planning on playing the original again soon.

Was thinking of pledging and saw ETA was 2019.

Are you kidding me?

Plus I am playing Underrail right now and can't imagine W3 will be better.

If they get that guy on the game I might reconsider. Styg or what ever. Saw his interviews on Matt Chat and really liked his views.

Underrail >Wasteland 3

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Video is terrible, bullshots disappointing (do the devs fucking never learn? After all the previous shitstorms? Jesus) and sonofabitch the 25 dorra option is already gone. So we can opt for the 33 dorra option which is exactly the same because who the fuck plays these games on consoles. And it's coming in 2019 (meaning 2020 at best). I can be dead by then. Aliens can invade. The world could end.

Eh, I love W2, it's one of the best RPGs ever made in my book, but due to all the aforementioned reasons I'm not gonna back this. 2021 Christmas sale here I go.

What? Early bird sold out? Now they want $33 off me?! Now I'm *really* not going to back it even more than I wasn't.

Edit: Actually, I saw the collectors edition and am weakening.

This looks like some sort of Ponzi scheme: they still haven't released TToN, and it looks like they haven't even started on BT4, and now this? How dumb must one be to back the third campaign in a row since last release?

It's a $49.99 game, so $33 is still a fantastic deal.

By 2019 we'll all be living in bubbles on the moon and playing VR games. Three years with an existing engine? Fargo must be going all-out on the cinematic experience.

As I said in the other thread, implementing multi-party drop-in/drop-out co-op for this type of game is going to be a ton of work. Just imagine the kind of bugs that could pop up...

Three years seems optimistic to me.

What initial rush? It just opened and is still going strong. People aren't exactly glued to their computers all day long, so there's still plenty of time left on the "initial rush".
