my older account got permabanned some 2 years ago (for promoting piracy funny enough, i just said Daggerfall and Arena could be gained by other means then ebay, never mentioned any torrent sites or anything.) and my new account got 2 warnings (one for too hardcore ranting about Fallout and the other for posting a link to the Svatopluk Daggerfall nudity guide.) so yeah it is easy to get banned over there.

You mean turn it from a turn-based game into a real time one, based largely on the player's reflexes? Funny you say that, since that's what Bethesda did with Fallout 3.

TES is about immersion first and foremost.

And Fallout was about emulating PnP RPG (GURPS in particular) turn-based gameplay first and foremost. This didn't stop Bethesda from changing it and achieving commercial success.

You guys just don't get it - you are not supposed to take any antagonistic stance on moderated forums. You're not supposed to come in with a chip on your shoulder, you're not supposed to relegate a man's thinking ability to his opinions on games, you're not supposed to start reprimanding people for their stance on anything; this is not how normal forums work.

Doing anything like that is against the forum rules, and if it isn't the first time, the posting suspension could be more than three days.

...uh, i dunno, like asking around collectors forums or look in bargain bins, like i wrote in my post on ESF? i said i never referenced anything involving piracy.
