Better 300 words than 5000 words with a 300 word intro that doesn't say anything...not that I am pointing any fingers.
I wouldn't say "better". While I agree that overly long reviews are boring - I want to know about a game, not to read a fucking book about it - at least a long review does the job, while a 300-word review is poor and insufficient by default.

Btw, did you have to quote the whole thing? Quoting "It's a 300-word review, so it must have been aimed at people with reading comprehension disabilities" would have been enough .

Yeah, and I guess I could spend ten minutes responding to everyone in one thread, but that is kind of a bit tedious.

"have you got mira yet? it might just have been the novelty, but i liked her wrist rocket launchers, especially some of the better darts/missiles it can shoot."

Ys, I do. She was cool for all of 10 minutes than i got bored with her. She's stayin' on the Ebon Hawk.

thats rather shortsighted, especially considering you wont learn her backstory if you dont use her.

tsk tsk and i thought you were one of those who advocated roleplaying over powergaming (isnt that what you are, in effect, doing by only using the most powerful/best npc party members, and leaving the rest on the ship?). :P

1. Mira is a little girl who calls me old. She doens't deserve a spot.

2. I have Handmaiden because she's a babe and my characetr thinks she's HOT.

3. I keep Kreia; 'cause it's best to keep the most untrustworthy npc you HAVE to have in your aprty with you. Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer.

I think it's more powergaming if you use every single character in your main aprty just so you can see their story and get the silly stat boosts.

I keep my PC (duh!), Handmaiden 'cause she's my g/f and apprentice, and I usually rotate the third who probably has the skills to help me solve the mission (or is forced upon me like right now with Reatrdo Mandolarian). This is usually Kreia.

If I ahd my wish, I'd keep the characters I trust/want in my aprty; and get rid of the rest. Alas, I can't 'cause the KOTOR series is lame that way.

As for her backstory. I probably don't know everything - she's a bounty hunter with a heart of gold who doens't kill her prey unless forced and now she has a horny tenneie bopper carpter bag trying to kill her who doesn't really want to kill her; but actually wants to have sex with her. No thanks. If the rest of her back story is some wannabe porno I'll past. besides, she obviously has 'daddy' issues.

i sincerely hope that was tongue-in-cheek, otherwise that was spoken with utter ignorance. for someone who seems to have an opinion all the time, i figured the least you could do is actually find out a characters entire story before commenting badly about them.

"her backstory sucks, even though i have never found it out, just because i say so" doesnt cut it.

Let's put it this way - I know enough of her backstory that I don't want to waste the time to learn more. Not when there are more interesting characters.

If you wanna defend the little girl and her boyfriend; go right ahead.

and all im saying is that you havent even touched the surface of her backstory and thus any opinion you have of her is severely flawed.

and before you suggest that its because im a "mira fanboi", id give you the same advice (even though you wont want it) about any character, including ones i didnt like.

im just saying dont judge a character before actually knowing more than 10% of their backstory (which is about as much as you know of miras, based on your comments about her backstory).

No. It's not flawed. First impressions ar everything.

Give all the advice you want. However, you have 10 characters that join you during your journeies; if one is ROLE-PLAYING you simply shouldn't power game to learn all their stuff.

Bullcrap. I know more than 10%. And, she's not worth knowing about. She should get off my ship and go have sex with the carpet bag or her daddie and leave me alone.

hey, its your game and you can play it any way you want. i dont mean to come across as telling you what you should or shouldnt do.

but having played through and gotten her complete story, i can honestly say youve barely even touched upon her backstory (atleast based on the stuff youve said you learned about her). my 10% estimation is about right.

Rule #58 in the "How Not To Be A Cocksucker Handbook": Don't stuff cocks in your mouth when attempting to speak.

For some reason, I would think that rule would be higher on that list in such a book.

I haven't got all that far in the game (had to replace my vidcard), but something's really bugging me about the dialog. Before getting to Telos you get to ask Kreia a lot of questions. Everything except the most obvious ones: Who is she? What's her interest in you? Who's she working for?

Not that she'd answer. But it seems idiotic not to be able to even ask the question.

Who cares about about asking her questions. i just want the option to dump her out of the Ebon Hawk... into space. Since she's using you anyways that's worth the 10 dark side points... <>

Interrogate first, then dump.
