Without unprecedented jump in last day pledges they are now barely going to reach MCA stretch goal. Putting a new city as a further stretch goal is kinda pointless, no way it will be reached.

The KS amount stands at $3,191,399 as we speak. Add to that the $200K from Steve and Brian and the 50+ K coming in through PayPal and they're already within 50K of the MCA goal.

How they want to show a city with very tall building inside game engine with isometric camera and 2d backgrounds? Sounds like trying to fit a square into a triangle hole. Wouldn't be surprised if it's artist working in vacuum, not giving a single though about a game. Meh. While the art itself is quite good (imo the best TToN showed) it's hard to get excited about concept arts. Every game now have tons of them, usually quite pretty but they are detached from the actual visuals of the game. They should stop being so lazy and do a few mockups instead.

How will they show it in a 3d engine with a top down camera? Uh, I dunno, maybe just not make them that large? Better just make the game first person, imo.

By the way, that's supposed to be an underwater city. So unless they're gonna implement swimming I suspect you'll be inside the buildings when you're in that city.

How about instead we get to climb (or swim) up those architectural structures, while camera follows in Cavalier Oblique, and we get to look down from the highest points - while all of that city is one single full 3D area.

How about that?

We will implement swimming cutscenes with QTEs. And cooldowns.

I should clarify, I my dooomsaying relates to if new city stretch goal is at 4 million or past 4 million. I said that MCA stretch goal is very likely but not certain, nothing is ever certain.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
Pretty sure we'll hit 4.5-5 Million Dorrah.
How about you?

I still can't believe all this shit. Years of crying about how dead RPGs are, then all this at once. What the hell!

Sci-fi RPG from InXile after Torment, if the incline revolution is really successful would be ... :bounce:
Depends really... if they go for the usual sci-fi space opera crap it wont mean anything to me.

On the other hand, if they would go for an actual Science Fiction game... well... that would be a different matter entirely.

- i doubt it. i think i will have to do that one myself.

If they want the world to reflect the reactiveness of the game, then 3d would be a much better choice for them. Grim Fandango broke the mold from 2d adventure games and became the best adventure game ever made.

Fuck it, honestly I don't really care.
I'm more worried about the game having an idiot like Tony Evans on board, and the combat system (of which I've heard nothing about), than I am about the graphics.
