Isn't Naheulebek I can't believe it's not D&D TM territory?
It is thematically and aesthetically similar to D&D trash but it plays completely differently (ie the combat is actually good)

The Golden Age of CRPGs was 1997-2009
Agree
The golden age of RPGs is now, now that a few RPG developers are figuring out how to make games with good combat rather than D&D cargo cult shit.
Name me two RPGs with good combat that isn't "D&D cargo cult shit."
Fallout 3, Fallout 4. Boom!
Fallout 4 is too old to be part of the alleged current golden age

Brenda Romero made a better and more popular Wizardry game than did Greenberg&Woodhead, Roe Adams, David Bradley and Cleve Blakemore. You go, girl!

Codex Year of the Donut
I regularly argue with people over video games I've never actually played. I feel a deep spiritual bond with this man

Argue with people over video games and pretend that you didn't play them. I've done it twice, and in both situations there was a meltdown.
