Dark Souls series are badly implemented action games with trashy and unrealistic combat. Their poor budget resulted in trashy controls and game balance but intelligent guerrilla viral marketing from FROM Software (the most ridiculous name for a game studio ever), managed to convince all the teenagers of the world that it was designed that way in order to be "hard". A "hard" game with checkpoints every 10 minutes, that you can't die at all, and great combat where no matter your class all you do is roll-roll-roll backstab everytime, and you cheese enemies in order to lure them into 1on1s everytime. The worst garbage of the decade.

BG1 is a piece of crap, people just played it because there was nothing else to play and because of Minsc, my guess, they realized their games sucked and they added him.
BG2 was a slight improvement but was merely filing a hole.
AoD is a piece of trash, i tried to play it twice and couldn't get past the terrible UI, the lag and the camera views showing everything but main char and NPC ...
