Awful art style. I don't know what it's called, but I've seen too much of it recently. Looks like a bad flash animation of top of it.

STRAY GODS
RELEASED!
Choice & Consequence, David Gaider, Musical

In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical.

Written by David Gaider comes Stray Gods - an urban fantasy tale of finding your place, taking charge of your fate, and discovering answers. Your choices will change the endings, as well as the path you take to get there.

ABOUT THIS GAME

From Klei Entertainment, creators of Don't Starve, Invisible Inc, and Griftlands comes Dread Pilots, a new space survival exploration sandbox game.

You are a Dread Pilot, an unfortunate soul trapped in a dangerous and uncaring purgatory with only your wits to aid you in your quest to escape.
WELCOME TO THE DREAD
The Dread is a pocket dimension somewhere between deep space and a nightmare. You face mutated, carnivorous plant life, mind-bending anomalies, living computers, fanatical cults, space vampires and more as you traverse its many regions in a desperate search for resources and allies. Explore dark infected caverns, soar past glistening technological landscapes, and navigate chaotic mineral fields, all animated in Klei Entertainment's signature hand-drawn 2D style.
SURVIVAL AT ALL COSTS

The life of a Dread pilot is short and cheap. Combat can pay off if you have the advantage, but it’s perilous if you don't. Explore carefully, judge the risks well, and always keep an eye on your tenuous connection to reality or you may just find yourself blown to pieces - or worse. Sometimes information gathering, trade, and diplomacy is the more prudent option.
THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR THE JOB

You arrive in the Dread in a simple cargo ship with limited capabilities. To survive you’ll need to buy, borrow, or steal something better. Upgrade your ship by fabricating parts with the resources that you find. You can cozy up to a faction to gain access to their technologies, or 'liberate' that technology the hard way. Build your pilot's skills as you go to unlock new ways to solve problems - but these skills bring trade-offs with them that you’ll need to navigate.
LIVE OUT YOUR OWN STORY

The Dread is alive with possibilities, and uncompromising with its consequences. Interconnected ecosystems of flora and fauna will both help and hinder you. Everyone you meet can either aid you or thwart your will. Play your own way but remember that everything here has a repercussion. And don’t worry if it all goes awry - a fresh new horror awaits each time you enter the Dread!
MEET YOUR NEW BEST FRIENDS

You don't have to face the Dread alone. Buddy up with powerful factions from the chemically cheerful Trading Guild, to the rock-worshiping Xenoliths. Each pilot you meet remembers what you've done, and they aren't shy about holding a grudge. Make the right contacts, and you'll have friends to call on when you need them most. Anger the wrong people, and you might find yourself ambushed the next time you venture out into the wild.

Looks like Sunless Sea/Skies but with awful graphic design choices.

Found a zombie survival blobber heading to early access next month. Not sure how much of an rpg it is yet though.

Naw I was alive in the 1980s. That art style in the trailer is more 1990s with the entire 3d CGI. In the 1980s it was more refined 1970s art.

It still looks like shit.

By "Tumblr 80s" I was mean "how Zoomers sees 80s - violet and bisexual".

Doing a complete OP update on stuff that I missed. Releases, Early Access releases, abandoned projects, name changes, you name it. While I prefer to link to official game/developer sites, I have changed as many links as possible to Steam Store pages in the OP. Previous years won't be updated. Why do you link to Steam if you prefer it the other way? Too many game/developer sites get shut down. Store pages usually stay up, even if a game gets delisted. I feel it is less "personal", but you can't always have it your way. I still have the Asian, and Tactical sections left. For those curious, I've spent close to six hours on the changes so far.

Sad but true, though mainly for Steam, GOG regularly purges pages of games they don't sell anymore, which is really annoying
