Grab the Codex by the pussy Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Mechanics are pretty solid. We want to add initiative to stealth encounters but that's going to be a priority and will come fast. We need to add the script to about 6 mid tier maps and write the end game stuff (we want alternate endings depending on your discoveries). The maps themselves need polish and testing, maybe fixes if QA says so. We lack a lot of QoL features though, game options now is a pretty much an empty page. There's balancing to be done, localizations, etc, a lot of nitty-gritty stuff that makes a finished product. And modding SDK and documentation on top.

Generally the game needs PLAYERS. And feedback. Working in a closed environment becomes unhealthy after so many years. We'll be running a stable build in the public branch for those who just want to play for fun and keep up a community beta branch with the latest stuff accessible to those who wish to see where we're headed and what stage we're at.

With all due respect, the trailer title is misleading, dishonest. You should've just called it "EA date announcement"
Release Date became synonym for the EA Release Date, little cheap trick adopted over years to game algorithms and whatever.
To me personally - it would be refreshing if developers would be more honest and transparent without trying to be clever mimicking dark patterns from other developers.

Well, there's the MPS channel and there's our YT channel. Marketing is their call and they know what they're doing. We fixed the title on our YT:

We told them they need to be clear about EA stuff in the promo already. Tomorrow the Steam store page should have an Early Access section too (although Steam doesn't force you to do it until release, we don't like to play this kind of games).

As for the trailer VO, we discussed picking between Billy Bo and Kaylee, who are Urban born and raised in their bios so makes sense to tell the story.

If you ask me, I would've gone for Billy simply because the VO actor's hillbilly accent is spot on and it cracks me up each time I hear him speak, but Kaylee I guess was the safe option for the international crowd. Cause when Billy's going full southern lingo you need a Redneck Google Translator. But who knows maybe we'll feature him in another trailer, just for the heck of it.

Well I hope you get lots of play testers that are willing to pay to test the game, so I can actually enjoy it in 2027.

Honestly, it is one of the few games I was excited about ... .

Let's hope it is polished enough that it will not get mixed or worse rating and eventually the plug gets pulled.
That would be a shame but I am not to optimistic about it.

Woman prattle, why?

Just write her like a tough but quiet woman that for some reason seems to get horny when she looks at the MC, and a sultry voice when she speaks to him alone. You do not need to elaborate on it, you dont need to explain it, you dont need to develop it, you dont need to apologize over it, your game will sell.

Its not rocket science, just be sexist and your core audience will reward you.

Just wait until we're done adding the full VOs, including the stealth hush voice, she'll do nothing but whisper sweet nothings to your hero.

Or maybe not, but you can still imagine she does.

Seriously though, you are leaving money on the table by not having the redhead wanting to jump the players bones on the announcement trailer.

I want to underline that I don't fucking care if the VO was feminine and the game has powerful women as main characters. That's absolutely normal for me and I don't care if here some people have small dicks.

I've just tought the video could be better, that's it. The game, per se, is VERY promising and I trust the developers.

Devs leaving money on the table by not adding romance…
Not romance, thats for faggots.
Just sex appeal, sexuality, it sells, today it sells more than ever before, particularly in vidya games.
