Btw can we even talk about a game from WoD being developed? We could have missed the point of this dating app trailer and it could be just another generic vampire game that's not connected to White Wolf. Is there any information about Paradox having the rights to create a WoD game?

No, thank you. I don't want any sequel game of a game I loved that is not made by the original team. I'm too tired of having hope for games that turned out to be fucking shit.
Meh paper skin, who cares if the game is shit, the original is still a good game!

If they're smart, they'll do 5 different locations around the world. Back in the days, everything Chinese used to be hip, so Deus Ex did Hong Kong, while VtMB did China town. Nowadays, Russia and Arabic countries are exotic. And timetravel through any mechanics (someone's memories, torpor, whatever) would be great.
Why not everything at once? Put the starting point in XV century Eastern Roman Empire and explore the Russain-ERE relations from Vampire: The Masqurade perspective. XV century is where arabs are close to constantinople so assamites confirmed. In fact, Stambul is Paracucks safest bet in terms of setting. Cheaper to remade already built one city instead of slapping five different hubs.

And time travel to 1917 Petrograd because why the hell not. That is not productive thing.

But I wonder why the account handle is KnoxJ instead of KnoxH since you know, his last name is Harrington.

I really don't know how much more progressive and woke they can become. I can't think of one thing from mainstream SJWism that is missing in WoD. Gays, lesbians and those filthy bisexuals - check, trannies - check, polyamory - check, stronk womyn - check, racial minorities - check, danger hair - check. Soooooo???
Games have by and large always been made by liberals, and none of the things you listed are new to the medium as a whole and certainly not new to WoD, but what changed with the advent of SJWism is how all of these things are presented. Like Roguey said, it's all about the tone.

In VTMB you had gays and bisexual slut vampires, bondage dominatrix clubs, commie anarchist vampires and so on. But was the game trying to bludgeon you with some point or commentary through this stuff? Were they using these things as a means for lecturing the player? No, they were just elements of a dark and seedy world.

There's also the fact that the counter-culture, punk tone of stuff like WoD used to actually be, you know, counter-cultural. It was kind of an edgy, fringe thing that was looked down on by the mainstream normies, and attractive by virtue of that. But now all this stuff is perfectly mainstream, it's lost its edge. You can go out in public and see people who look like a nosferatu that just climbed out of a sewer, and they're probably going to lecture you about being a bigot.

This pretty much.
The themes and representations aren't the problem. It's the pandering / kid gloves that are used for these characters.

SJW's are just bad writers in general because they write fiction how they see the world, incredibly simplified, black and white.

Paradox does have the rights and also that app is from the current WoD setting, it's a vampire scam app thing of some kind

Seems like it is indeed a thing in WoD. I think it's from the fifth edition, though.

You'd be surprised how black and white Dracula, the book, is. I've been reading it lately and it's pretty great, but it's not due to ambiguity or lack of black and white thinking. All the protagonists are beautiful, virtuous, strong, brave, knowledgeable, helpful and good, while Dracula and his minions are deformed, mad and the manifestation of evil.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
If it's Requiem instead of the Masquerade, my interest level goes way down. Either way, I hope it's a contemporary-ish setting. Anything from 80s-00s would be nice.

Btw I think Paradox can make a WoD vamp game BUT all the original things created in Vtm:B belongs to Activision.

So, doubt you can have VV, or even Knox... unless they are White Wolf characters, like Jack.

That's why the the Twatter account is called knoxj, but maybe I am wrong.

As if Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine in filthy western catholic european lexigon, this word actually doesn't exist) was any better in this case and lacked faggots, penis mutilators and trannies cosplaying angels. They're mostly greek after all.

Extremely unlikely. It's nothing new, but with Masquerade back in 5E I imagine WW is pretending hardcore that Requiem doesn't exist.

So, they turned the warrior-philosopher clan into antifa. Good one, white bitches!

The Brujah in Bloodlines did not come across as particularly smart, especially Damsel, who was a college commie (though to their credit, they allowed you to mock her).
Jack and Nines were closer to the original, which made sense since they were the oldest of that group, IIRC. The rest were basically antifa-wannabes.

Good to hear; I haven't kept up with anything in 5E, so I'm glad the masquerade is back.

The Masquerade is somewhat broken in 5E, the federal agencies of some countries know of the existence of vampires, but it isn't public knowledge because they are not sure who is a thrall of the vampires.

5E is nonsense and basically not the Masquerade game I want to play anymore. Sure, idea of Second Inquisition kicking vampire asses, dusting Tremere chantry in Vienna for starters, so far they eschew digital communications and go back to ye old couriers and whatnot sounds like an interesting change, but not really a vampire power fantasy Masquerade was at its core and more like a Hunter designer running amok. That's not even going into thematic systems they're forcing on everyone like Touchstones. If I want more genuine personal horror that's what Requiem actually did much better.
