Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Has anyone checked out Dead Days yet? I'm very curious about the translation quality, and I know it isn't as extreme as Euphoria so it has my interest.

Aren't those essentially K-dramas?
First one is more or less a standard pick-your-waifu sort of story with some supernatural elements that get revealed mostly towards the end. Second one I haven't gone through yet, but I'm assuming that it is much more focused on the supernatural stuff and might not even have romance options going by the Steam description.

As far as the first one goes, I liked it for what it was. Much prefer the more photorealistic models and the chicks were all vanilla archetypes (e.g. sporty chick, alt chick, shy nerdy chick etc), but it's nothing special if you don't care about that sort of stuff. Perhaps Valestein played it based on my recc and can give his own take on it.

In search of some new denpa titles, I ran across this gmæ... ...It's fairly short, which is a plus in my book of life, cos I'm at the stage where I can't afford to read fifty-hour VNs.. With an inoffensive art style and eerie story, I'm thinking of stumbling through its delirious corridors.. there's not a lot of info about it, so checking if any of you fine gentleman has read it by any chance...

Hopefully most of the game will take place in Arva Shulan (the new fantasy India introduced and briefly visited in MM), rather than Yamato yet again. Sadly our party seems to be the same. No Vurai tagging along. Hopefully we will get some new party members from Arva.

Looks like Karura is being shoehorned into the story, and a Touka expy? Is this supposed to be Touka's mom, or some never before mentioned sister? Or is it a coincidence that we are seeing a new member of the extremely rare Evenkuruga race who coincidentally looks very similar to Touka? Maybe I am being thrown off by how much older this character looks than Touka did in the Masks duology, where Touka looked younger and takes place several years after Monochrome Mobius. Maybe she just got a redesign. Alternatively given the time travel stuff in the gacha game, and the insinuation of timeline manipulation at the end of Monochrome Mobius, perhaps it could actually be future Touka from Masks or after Masks.

This is the first time i see animu protag with buzzcut.

It won some awards? I hope for the most tasteful anime prison rape. Is this shite or actually good novel btw?

I havent read it but I heard good things about the novel. A friend who reads the VNs in jap said to me its great and recommended it, tho I am wary about the Shiranigger translation. Its from the same people as Nukitashi fwiw which was a great VN, once we had the translation improvement patch that is.

Trailer is truly pathetic. It's not even cut! It's just continuous slice of video from beginning. And this vn actually has a publisher! Some nice promotion here.

"Bad ward" and "Serious Offense Ward"? Why not just "Bad Ward" and "Bad-Bad Ward"? Wards should be categorized by security level.

I finished FMD Muramasa a few days ago. I don't see why this VN is so hyped. There are a TON of (fictional?) history dumps and mech/samurai combat lore. It was incredibly boring and tedious during those sections, I usually only skimmed the first sentence while I frantically clicked through the info dumps.

As for the overall story, I think it's good. It has 3 routes (with some minor alternative endings, use a guide for this, trust me), the third and true end route is unlocked after you do the first 2 girl's routes. I'd say if they cut out all the boring history crap it'd be a 10/10 for me. But if you are into military strategy and history and samurai combat I think you'll love it.

The h-scenes were perfect in my opinion. Not too long as usual, just the right length. Of course there is rape. The first h-scene in particular shocked me on my first read that I had to put it aside for a few years. So this was my second time reading it.

Overall I give it a 8/10 because of the large amounts of text I had to skip through and some difficult puzzles that I used a guide to do.

Steam censoring even more cover arts:

Can you believe Steam found this cover 'problematic' for being 'too sexy' and made us change it?

Denpa works might be up your alley, but there are sadly few of them and many haven't been translated into English (plenty of the classics have been picked up, though).

Kusarihime is probably the one I'd recommend the most, but the translation is still not out (it might be released next year). If you're up for some disturbing and philosophical tales, try Subarashiki Hibi and the Tsui no Sora remake, both of which have been translated.
