After training with the Legendary Samurai of Zeta, you learn the 'Sword of the Samurai' perk:
With this perk, anytime you weild a sword, you are able to deflect bullets from enemy fire!!

Eventually... if Bethesda slaps enough shit together, they'd have reproduced the entire world, down to each individual ant. Fallout 3: Simant.
Pfff, only the world? The Earth is sooo last-gen, they'll keep going until everything in the universe is compartmentalized into various DLC packages. Then we'll have Fallout 3: The Theory of Everything.

[Intelligence] So... the sword becomes like a shield?
[Perception] No, the sword becomes a sword that can deflect bullets!

Bullets? Pffft. In another true sequel samurai swords were destroying heavy armoured tanks - and this shit is weak, very weak.

This is in the upcoming DLC, haven't you heard? Raiders develop tank technology and it's up to you to save a village (of 3 residents) from them! Or you can join with them and destroy the village only to become god to the raiders, enabling you to a chest full of goodies replenished once a week.

Hah, so you guys honestly thought this is stupid? That Fallout 3 is pretty facepalm worthy as is?

You fools.

Have you not hear...OF THE DLC?!

Welcome...to Fallout! MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!

/has gone insane

That armor he's wearing looks like a reskinned Chorrol guard suit with the helmet from the old Morrowind orcish armor.

Uh... why is a medieval samurai on an alien spaceship hovering over a post apocalyptic 50's Earth?

I firmly believe that Fallout 3 is an elaborate troll on the Codex and NMA for all the slack we gave them over Oblivion. And we're falling for it. Hard.

They probably abducted a Japanese samurai ages back, or some shit like that. Usual alien fare.

Yip. Zeta's backstory mentions the asliens have been abducting for a long time, and in the course of gameplay you're supposed to free up prisoners to help you out.

The fact that it's explained doesn't make it less stupid, tho'

That's reasonable enough. Hey, Driackin! Go for it man!

You guys are assuming that I even have enough mental stamina to complete the OC.

It's never too late to plan ahead. Especially when it's other's mental condition that's at stake.

Keeping someone alive in a spaceship for thousands of years must be hard work. I wonder if you'll get some kind of immortality perk once you discover the magical life machine.
