Some early thoughts (Chapter 2, done some encounters).

Love the artsyle, but the game seems a bit shallow (and easy) so far.

You should add mouse support to the game (or confirm if it is already supposed to work, mouse shows in game but clicking doesn't do anything.

I don't think that shared xp pool works great for a linear game like Weaves of Fates were you have a predetermined order of mission with a predetermined set of characters you play. Maybe it become more open/nonlinear later on?

Are there any flanking bonuses? Enemies to try to move to my back/side every turn, but it doesn't seem to do more damage.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to post and let you all know I've now implemented mouse support for the game!

(In response to Iznaliu's question, it was on the to-do list but I just pushed an update to Steam)

Thanks!

Just started playing through this. Very early into it but really like it so far. Combat has been fairly trivial, but I've only fought a handful of battles so fair enough.

Great soundtrack so far, cool artstyle, story simple enough to fall into easily but still interesting & well told enough to draw me in. So far so good.

Looks very good. Too bad there are mixed reviews on Steam, hopefully the dev will keep improving it.

Hi everyone! I recently released my indie game, Weaves of Fate, onto Steam and was advised to open a thread here to give you guys a shout about my game.

image4.png

"Weaves of Fate is an epic blend of role playing and tactical strategy. In the far future, a demonic invasion throughout all of time has been triggered as a result of humanity’s actions.

With the timeline shattered and paradoxes cropping up, the game follows multiple characters in different time periods as they deal with the resulting challenges and conflicts.

As fate’s weaves fall apart and the timeline fractures, the incarnations of reality decide to intervene. To preserve fate and destiny, Death himself must become mortal and enter the human realm to fix things."

For those of you interested in checking out the game and possibly grabbing it, here's the link to it on Steam. There's a 15% launch discount until August 10th.

Just finished it. Nothing spectacular, but well peiced together enough to be a bit of fluff fun. Combat is fairly trivial, but it's still fun enough none the less.

Most outstanding part of the game for me was the music. Some great atmospheric tunes, and personally I really liked the artstyle too.
