Picked up Patrician 3 off steam yesterday, been enjoying it thoroughly. Reminds me of uncharted waters for the genesis, but instead of all the personal stuff like duels and plots and discoveries, you get to build up towns; everything from wells to mints.

What about Patrician 4, that anygood?

Goddammit Mount and Blade is sucking days of my life down the drain again

Enjoying Warband's diplomacy improvements more than I expected. They're still basic, but there's potential for modders to build on. Also downloaded a tweak pack for morale/leadership that makes the game a lot more bearable after the first few hours... always got a bit fed up with how any army of over 70 members required three huge fights a day or they started having temper tantrums and crying everywhere, it's a lot more interesting when I'm not having to spend all my time strategically chasing raider groups into each other to make for a large enough fight to please them all fucking game.

Took my own advice and played Sid Meiers Pirates!. I just wanted to play for an hour and ended up with playing the whole night and only 3 hours sleep left for the next day. Fucking casual games...
Ended New Vegas before (and waiting for more mods) and I play Pirates of the Carribean and City of the abandoned ships since Christmas.

Install the diplomacy mod, makes it a lot better.

Oh Christ that shit is like cocaine to me. Don't even get me started. I played that thing for like five hours straight once and then hated myself afterwards.

It's a pretty cool game where you fight rabbits and wolfs after they have raped your wife and daughter and slain your village. It's just about kicking asses. I like the combat though and the general atmosphere is a bit psychedelic. There's a demo available (though I haven't played it because I didn't know about it, I just bought full version straight from the Steam) if you want to check it out. I think most of you will dislike that game but for me it was fun surprise. The campaign is short though, took me about 2.5 hours to finish it.
Downloaded the demo, the combat system is quite fun :)
Dammit, Konjad, look what you made me do. I'm addicted to the game now, so I have to go throw a few bucks at some indie developers. You're ruining my piracy street cred! :godimsomadtheyremovedthissmiley:

I've reached the final mission in Starcraft II, which is of the "Hold the fort" kind. So far, I've only managed to survive for 57% of the time. I guess I could lower the difficulty to Normal, but it would probably make it too easy.

I considered lowering the speed of the game at the beginning of the mission, to give myself more time to organize my troops... but it turned out to be impossible : the basic speed is actually the slowest one !

Edit : Dammit, I've reached 94%, but the last moments give new meanings to the expression "zerg rush".

Was playing New Vegas until my GPU exploded - took that as a sign to get a new PC. So I'm on my wife's laptop playing Torment for the time being, plus some assorted PS3 games - mostly IL2 Sturmovik and Undead Nightmare.

Got that from the indie bundle but never played it until I heard all this favorable Codex posting for it. Really is kinda cool. Didn't pay it much attention since lolfurries but not a bad little game.

Finished Starcraft II. The final mission turned out to be fairly easy as long as you mass tanks to defend your base.

The writing's refusal to compromise is almost admirable : it remains consistently horrible until the very end.

Going through Might and Magic 3 and Baldur's Gate 2. Trying to actually finish the games.

I have a game of Dark Spire going on the DS that's still fairly new - about 4 hours in. And outside of that I'm playing Desktop Dungeons for a casual puzzle fix.

I'm playing World of Xeen for the first time. The open world design and non-linearity is fantastic. Lack of dialogue of any depth or conversation skills are the only glaring omissions so far.

Giving M&B/DKS a break until I can get my graphics card checked out, it's overheating too much for popamole next-gen stuff at the moment. Might continue my Fallout 2 Restoration Patch playthrough, start World of Xeen or be crazy enough to try a Wizardry 6-8 single-party playthrough.

I just set up windows 3.1 in dosbox (so that I could play Exile without it crashing) and filled that wonderful folder with older games.

Replaying Heretic right now.

TF2 I guess. Been looking for a good-n-terrible free aisn mmorpg but can't find one that's good despite itself. I've come to the conclusion that they just don't make free shitty korean pvp-grinders like they used to.

The American open beta for "Pandora Saga" just opened a couple days ago, and I tried that out, but the game is truly awful.

Fired up Atlantica after not having seen it since beta, and my old character is gone, so I'm not really gonna go through all that again.

Still playing Demon's Souls.

On my third consecutive playthrough. Yes. It's THAT good.
