And as I said, if there are concerns about legal liability incurred by the codex should that policy be construed as legally binding on the RPGcodex's end (or your concern that it would be used by shit posters to try to stir up shit with forum power-plays), it can be kept strictly internal with only a vague understanding that it now exists being communicated to the public at large. Although, the more transparency the more reassured I would be.
You... genuinely believe we could develop some kind of "super sekkrit mod user policy"... and it wouldn't be leaked?

And some idiot wouldn't then decide that it's their hill to die on while they start some sort of silly campaign in Site Feedback because some mod or another linked something some other user had bandied about or that they found somehow or another on the public internet?

And of course, the user has only the noblest of intentions. That they've been a shitposter since the day they joined is only a pure coincidence.

What's your join date again? How long have you been here exactly?

The real reason why Infinitron censored and banned Kalin is because of Kalin's lore posts about the true Lost tribe of Israel / present day "Jews" as satanic impostors and the nature of the biblical sin of Onan.
What a bunch of baloney. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that the "star of David" is really the star of Remphan/Chiun, an ancient pagan symbol of Saturn (the god, as well as the sixth planet from the Sun, which, incidentally, just happens to have a perfect hexagon inscribed over its North Pole, although this was only discovered in the eighties) and represents the elements of time, death, entropy, imprisonment, and is the final gate before apotheosis in occult esotericism.

Jewish orientalists/mystics/esoterictists/khabalists placed high empasis on researching the saturn topic, ancient babylonian writings. Seems...definitely weird. Have they felt there might be a connection?

The actual North Pole of Saturn. Discovered for the first time in human history in 1981 by the Voyager probe as it flew past the planet on its way out of the Solar system.

Coincidence theorists will latch on to various cheap rationalizations, as they usually do, but for learning animals there are only two possibilities:

1. NASA faked these images, intentionally injecting occult symbolism for some unknown purpose (highly doubtful).
2. Ancient astronomers/astrologists had been prescient in their Saturnian hexagram/hexagon symbolism.

Hexing refers to curse magic. Gee I wonder where the association of "Hex" came from.

The crux of Zionism/Alchemy as in the present day occult is the black cube and lead to gold i.e. inversion of good and evil. And the main patron of this vile act? Saturn. Just see present day clowntopia in KWA and co. and realize that the malevolent design of debasement championed these days, is just the expansion of the core tenet of the malevolent Zionists and their Agenda. Since they are in effect, Satanic Cultists.

black cube
You mean this?
main-qimg-e3c6f19a6fabc1a31fc89a40bd3715bc.webp

The black cube is as much a symbol of Saturn as the hexagram/hexagon. In fact, a cube is generally by occultists as the three-dimensional analogia of the two-dimensional hexagon. A cube consists of six equally-sized faces, whereas a hexagon consists of six equally-sized lines.

A cube is therefore interpreted as the symbol of a box: imprisonment within the current aeon (to use a gnostic term). Often, the six faces of the cube are symbolic of the six directions of space: up, down, left, right, in, out. Or a fatality combo.

Another interesting association between the modern clownworld and Saturn is the ancient Roman pagan festival of Saturnalia, which was believed to be a time when everything was upside-down and opposite of normal. There was a lot of debauchery and permitted violence, servants would be served at the table by their masters, everyone wore weird rainbow-colored clothes, etc. etc. etc. In many ways the 21st century so far is one overly-long Saturnalia.

Rules beyond "my house, my rules", "don't be a miserable shitcock" and "don't do illegal shit" are largely unnecessary. Keep it simple and/or a little vague, it fucks with rules-lawyers. A forum centered around RPGs is bound to have a lot of those.

It's a slippery slope isn't it? While limited when compared to other sites, 'unwanted' Codexers are gotten rid of or muted all the same. Cassidy, Liberal and Maxie are noteable examples.

Cassidy wans't muted or banned, he LEFT FOREVER on his own.

Been a long time but yeah, Cassidy was pissed about two things iirc.

The 'just a prank bro' stuff with Scruffy (I think?) deleting/renaming threads in GD and Politics and also JCDgate that was going on at the time.

You could murder 100 scruffys and it wouldnt make up for a single Cassidy post.

Only good thing is that scruffy is such a joyless cunt that living is a worse punishment than dying for him.

Cassidy, the poster who was so awesome that apparently nobody has ever bothered to try contacting him and getting him to return. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong there)

I've looked for him a few times outside the Codex. Not sure what he's active on thesedays.

It's usually easy to find most Codexers on steam, but he was pretty anti steam from what I remember. No idea if he has an active account.

Edit: Misremembered, I did find his steam account a while back, but he's rarely online.

While those were the straws that broke the Camel's back, I think alone they would have never made him to leave. He was also quite displeased with the shilling and "Roxor's POE review being withheld (until a one sucking more Obisidian dick is available for "balance")" debacle, viewing these as the Codex selling out.

While his last non-profile post (quoted below) isn't outright mentioning the POE review debacle, if you go back to the original topic where that shitstorm manifested itself and see his posts there, it is quite clear he was referencing that.

https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/the-long-game.108485/#post-4510919

My predictions were right:

Fanboy/positive/shill and/or apologetic reviews aren't the greatest problem of what is Happening. The greatest problem is how on an eventual Thursday a fistful of Doritos for massive shutting down of any negative opinions or comments on the latest AAA/Kickstarter CRPG will finish digging the grave of RPGCodex. But this is the future you cannot choose. I can only hope there will be a real alternative like what 8chan is to 4cuck or what voat is to kingcomreddit by the time the Ultimate Sellout ITZ finally happens and this place becomes RPGCuckdex: budget safe space for viral marketing of AAA RPGs.

It's only a matter of time before this shit starts becoming the standard procedure in General Gaming and GRPGD as well. The cancer of shills, sellouts and alike has grown to the point this place is now completely soulless and worthless.

The more time has passed the more I find myself agreeing with this doomsday prophecy.

Obsidian Entertainment and our legendary game designers Chris Avellone, Tim Cain, and Josh Sawyer are excited to bring you a new role-playing game for the PC. Project Eternity (working title) pays homage to the great Infinity Engine games of years past: Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment.

The shock of such a game turning out to be substandard could've easily killed quite a number of posters. Postponing Roxor's review was a humanitarian move.

They would get what they deserved for getting hyped up about a RtwP combat title, call it Darwinism if you must.

Jokes aside, there wasn't a single Obsidian game that didn't disappoint or otherwise cause some people here to shit on it, I don't see why POE specifically could cause such damage.

Considering that a certain mod still deliberately change thread names expressedly to denigrate those he does not agree with, I'd say that Cassidy has a point.

The slippery slope scenario that Cassidy and others imagine for the Codex is incredibly silly. What incentive does a hobby site that earns maybe a few thousand dollars a year, run by a clique of mostly politically right-of-center software/IT professionals in their spare time, have to "go woke" or "sell out"? There is no sinister agenda, we just think some people are tiresome jerks who need to be smacked down occasionally.

"Right of centre" and "IT professionals" being correlated positively... Wow...
