KickStarter what is your personal 2015 RPG GOTY(roleplaying game game of the year) ?

From the games I've played so far this year I'd choose Wasteland 2 DC, but I haven't played SitS or AoD yet. Like I wrote in the another topic, I found writing the least offensive and least bad in WL2, the standards for game writing is usually so low that it is "good" when it's not offensively bad. Very close second with WL2 is UnderRail, but only very slightly.

PoE writing is so fucking long-winded and boring that I find it worse than WL2, also it didn't even have decent gameplay nor interesting mechanics/encounters to save it, unlike WL2 which at least has decent turn-based combat to fall into.

It's an obvious landslide victory for AoD and Underrail with the order between them being a coin flip. When the preference of the large majority is obvious, it don't matter what fancy voting/counting system you apply, the result will be the same. Feel free to not be a retard, by the way.

Having Underrail and AoD share the title is just a courtesy that I believe the Codex should show to Styg and Vault Dweller as they are both bros and any of the 2 games would have won GOTY in the former years of decline. The fact that they are tied so close only makes the above mentioned courtesy more legitimate.

I changed my vote to PoE after reaching Deep Caverns in Underrail. Before that Underrail no contest best one.

Overall not a good year for cRPGs.
Going back to WL2DC, maybe it saves 2015 for me.

My vote went to Underrail, though I have yet to play AoD at all since the combat demo a few years back (or, I have yet to play AoD). But I do intend to play it.

I was surprised to see Legends of Eisenwald on the list. It was a pretty fun game, more people should check it out.

Age of Decadence, Underrail, Wasteland 2 ED, DDOS ED and Legend of Eisenwald... Sadly never finished this one thanks to terrible optimization of game but it has kick ass Medieval low fantasy done right setting... Age of Decadense is propably best of them as ROLE PLAYING game no doubt although the rest were good too... 2014-2015 were great years when it comes to RPGs and TB Strategies.

What production wins Drama of the Year Award (DOTY)? Probably PoE. Is that a correlation to why Pillars of Eternity the game (that should answer your first question) gets so much flak here? Maybe.

Also, didn't know Age of Decadence and Underrail developers were Codex bros. That explains a lot.

Guise, I can't believe I was unaware of this game. I'm so excited, I've been reading Steam reviews all day at work. The game seems awesome. There were some people that wrote that crafting and itemisation are bland, but that's probably Fallout 4 'tards who think a wooden board that deals ice damage is something gud. I can't wait to get home and purchase...

Actually, PoE manages to take things even further. It's just like BG, sugar-coated in rainbow-tinted awesomeness. You're bound to totally love it!
