Which is more important to you? Playing the games with a similar view to the displays of year 2000 or making the most use of a modern display?

1920x1200

I see no reason not to
Everything looking like ants?

Squinting your eyes?

Text looking like footnotes?

Yeah, I can't run IE games higher than 1024x768 for exactly those reasons.

1024x768, anything higher just looks ridiculous.

Edit: Although I did run Torment once in 1920x1080 to have a better view of Sigil, it really is beautiful. The architecture is amazing.

Nothing looks like ants. Well, maybe the rats do.

I can read the text just fine.

And my display is 22" so everything is even smaller than on a standard 1920x1200 display.

1024x768 in windowed mode. Chat screens and whatever open next to it. Special exception for PST which looks nothing short of mindblowing on 1680x1050.

When I can then windowed, when not then I go for 1680x1050 (which reminds me, the poll option is wrong). The whole myth about shit being small on high resolutions is just that, a myth. I've got a big 22" screen and as Skyway mentioned, when you use the proper resolution with the big screen, it looks perfect.

I know Arcanum has mods for bigger text and whatever but I never needed it.

Insert clever insult here
My biggest gripe (after the fog-of-war) when playing with higher resolutions is that it creates the temptation to have parties bigger than 6 - since there's all that room for the portraits!
