All citizens of the Codex should be equal. We, the People, demand full admin powers to all!

Down with the aristocracy that have suckled on the labor of the Codexian nation!

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
I'm going to try to illumine the story of VD as best as my ailing memory may afford.
Whoever finds errors in spelling, grammar or accuracy may keep them.

The Codex of old was a dark, primal place. A primitive, primordial soup of shock porn, jerking off to Fallout 1 and hating modern shit games, such as at the time Baldur's Gate and Morrowind. Indeed, newfriends, there was a time those games were considered moderntard declineshit. The great antediluvian Codexites still hold to this orthodoxy. Nevertheless, it was a lively place. Short of child pornography there were no rules. Developers were trashed, games were trashed, new posters were laughed out. But there wasn't only chaos - you could find the highest quality RPG discussion in that mire, far more lucid than our discussions today. It's not that us older posters have grown dull, it's just that we've already discussed everything RPG related a long time ago. If you would partake in this wisdom, I suggest to you the same as the angel suggested to St. Augustine: Lege! Read!
Now, it was in this duality of chaos and order, foul tongue and lucid debate, that we lived. Then came the cursed one. VD, they now call him. He was one of us, a brother. He debated, he cursed, he laughed and cried with us, for were we not his brother? Through good articles and infamously elaborate quote by quote rebuttals, VD rose to the rank of admin. But little did we know of his dark design!
So it came to pass in the land of Codexia that VD began to moderate. A little at first, and then more and more. In the old days, if someone was stupid, we'd spam their thread with the grossest porn. No, said VD! We'd permit both idiot and genius to post without restriction - sometimes they were the same person, even. No, said VD! For VD had a vision. A Codexia under the banner of order. Free of passion, full of cold rationalism. In his Codexia there was no room for the Andhairas, the Roquas or the Liberals. It was to be a gathering for the elite minds who did not wallow in occasional idiocy but instead debated with intent and disciplined fervor. There would be rules. There would be moderation. And above all there would be order.
But VD in his flight soared too close to the sun. Behind his back, some admins and the infamous Momma's Gang (also known as Wheelchair Warez) worked in secret. They overthrew his rule, randomly added wordfilters, banned posters, and generally made a big mess.
DU, at this time, was very busy increasing his brain size. He was in slumber, pondering the mysteries of the universe. But when this ruckus rose him, his wrath was great indeed! He brought us the second covenant, the rules you now see. In the wake of his frightful furor, VD made his own forum and company and rules there to this day with his iron fist.

And what of Momma's Gang, these heroic freedom fighters? Well, some say they're gone. But legend has it that one day, when a tyrant tries to take Codexia over again, that they will return and liberate us once more.

And that was the tale of VD.

Some moderators might prefer not to have to read or deal with what goes in General Discussion, while others are perhaps best suited to General Discussion.
Regular moderators: Crispy, Scruffy, Scrooge, Jaesun, Zed

Who goes where is self-evident. :)

What is Zed mod of? I forgot.

Also, who moderates the Gazebo? Earlier we had those attributions clearly presented in each subforum..

A super administrator is simply an administrator that can make other people administrators.

A super moderator is simply a moderator who has moderation privileges in all of the forums on the website instead of only a selected subset of them.

For the average user, this is all you need to know:

A moderator can fuck around with your posts and ban you from specific threads.
An admin can fuck around with your account and ban you from the forum.

Is Crooked Bee still around

I'm on an actual spaceship. No joke.
tbf Codex ca the time of the VD drama was a shithole. A lot of the better discussions had already come and gone. I just remember racofer and poocolator and andhaira etc bulk spamming and endless useless threads. VD was being a nazi but sometimes a little nazism is good ok. After his reformation attempt came the counter-reformation, proof that the reformation was needed.

I can understand that Infinitron whose taste is still in its infancy unknowingly sponsors decline, but I was shocked DU and/or VoD can't see a trainwreck from a mile away (e.g. Underworld Ascendant, Shroud of the Avatar). Fallout fans you say? Shame how the mighty have fallen.
