One of the biggest flaws with many modern RPGS like The Witcher 3 is the small party size of 1, so I'm happy with a party of 4 :)

I think 4 is fine in modern games where companions are more detailed but less numerous, it increases replayability but decreases the possible variety in a party.

2 years later level cap is still 4....
Wait, the level cap is still 4?
Holy fuck, and they were claiming to have it out of ea in 2022... It seems I was too generous when giving them the benefit of a doubt.

Because of my big compassionate heart I agreed with Wotc to finally make the first good game in the Baldur's Gate franchise.
Imagine hating a beloved game series simply because it has party-based RTwP combat, which you are too autistic to master.

Thread is updated. Several new pages of content I'm not going to read because it's all going to be basically this over and over.

true, maybe i'm wrong, maybe fallout wouldn't be better with tactical party-based combat

as is proven by the overwhelming praise of fallout's non-controllable companions

fallout would have been a worse game if it was designed with the player having full control over the entire party
contrast to how easy it is to cover every weakness in the modern wasteland games
