The guy in blue makes almost a expression - how fitting.

And it's not just graphics either - Witcher has really good and convincing art direction, while I just can't imagine getting involved in a serious story told using DA2 looking characters and equipment. And fucking dork-age comic book style, cringe inducing mooks.
Maybe if the game was self-consciously ironic in such endearing manner as Anachronox, late Wizardries or recently Divinity 2 is without dropping the pretence of seriousness entirely, but even then, Div2 art design still blows it out of the water.

Witcher 1 was already, together with Bloodlines, the prettiest 3D rpg. Nice to see they're continuing with good design and visuals, shame about the bloom though. Pretty stoked for the game, day one purchase for me; the first part was pretty atmospheric.
