Normally you'd say "leaps and bounds" or "miles" so I guess "steps" means they're pretty bad.

Didn't want to make out the Witcher books to be pretentious or more than they are. But I'd say they're pretty close to "intelligent sword and sorcery" as it can get.

Well, they stated (even before release date) it is action RPG and they were speaking the truth. I expect The Witcher 2 to be very similar to the first one. That would be enough for me (though I'd appriciate more C&C).
