Not to mention that "gamer gurrrls" are generally a yuge pile of lol and not at all what thirsty dweebs imagine, which is connected to the point 3 I mentioned.
I really haven't had such problems. Gatekeeping your hobbies from your partner or video games from women seems more like an attempt at reinforcing specific relationship dynamics, whether those are by gender or something else.
