  1. Game News EA: We Lost Some Fans With Dragon Age 2

So it's official. EA's been developing the Dragon Age series, not Bioware.
  2. Game News Grimoire to be Released this Fall

Ah yes. I remember back when I would turn the dial to channel 27 after watching Thundercats so I could see if Donahue would release any more details on this game. I still don't see anything about a release date. I'll just have to satisfy my gaming itch with Zaxxon for now. Any news on...
  3. Game News Deus Ex: Human Revolution Sports Over 9000 lines of Dialogue

I really don't like where this trend with spoken dialog is going. My hard drive can't take much more and I haven't seen a decent modded quest in years.
  4. Review More Alpha Protocol Reviews

Woah, dejavu! I swear I've seen that exact same phrase here before, word for word. Do you people have a bunch of auto-responses saved to a text file somewhere?
  5. Editorial Why RPGs are Such a Pain in the Ass

Sounds like a lot of whining to me. It also sounds like this person doesn't like making RPGs. Anyone who likes what they do for a living won't be complaining about it. And honestly if a game isn't fun to make it's not going to be fun to play. I'll pass on this one.
  6. Happy New Year 2010 (Year of Decadence)

Should have been Decade of Decadence. Haio!
  7. The most difficult boss encounter in a CRPG.

Duriel from Diablo 2 is always a pain in the ass, especially if you use a character that relies more on range and speed than defense. Every other boss I can take down without worrying about dying. Diablo takes a while but I can at least keep my distance and let my skills do their work. I can...
  8. Roguelikes!

I've given them a chance but I just can't get into most of them except for Dwarf Fortress and even then I use a heavily modified graphics set.
  9. Company News Zenimax (Bethesda's parents) looking to buy Valve?

I don't see how they could possibly afford Valve. id's a big company but it didn't have nearly as many IPs and services that Valve does. Add to that that Valve is sitting pretty on their little cash cow called Steam. It's going to take a LOT of money to get them to sell.
  10. summoner

I remember playing back on the PS2 and I eventually got it for the PC. Never played very far into it, though. It seems like a solid enough game.
  11. Gorasul: Legacy of the Dragon!

I heard it's an excellent cure for cluster ball.

Indeed. You should buy this, like right now! :P http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MESE:IT beforeigankthepriceuptotakeadvantageofthesituation...
  13. Game News There are two kind of elves in Dragon Age

Qualinesti and Silvanesti. There's also the barbaric, tree hugging Kagonesti.
