Two KOTOR interviews at PlayMoreConsoles and TeamXbox

A couple console sites have got fresh previews of Obsidian's upcoming Star Wars sequel Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords.

First off, PlayMoreConsoles talked to MCA about the game in their interview.

In addition, we`re trying to improve on the great personality mechanics in the first game with the ability to influence your companions to the light and dark side - and trying to include more reactive game mechanics and plot elements based on character choices (such as your answers to the fate of your player in the first game sending echoes throughout the rest of the story). While parts of the game will be linear, we`re hoping your PC & NPC interactions won`t be.

Hopefully we'll be able to visit the graves of Carth's family and then laugh until that pansy cries.

Next up, TeamXbox have their own interview with KOTOR2 producer Mike Gallo.

Some might say that it's a solid story arc, or solid characters or compelling side quests. I think that it's all of those things. Another often overlooked part of the first game was the choice to do voice-over for every character in the game. This really had a positive effect on the story and characters. Imagine playing KOTOR I with a limited voice set, or none at all. I think that players would have had a far different experience. We're doing full voice for The Sith Lords too!

The only problem with those was all the alien voice overs which always went on forever and really annoyed the heck out of me.
