The new wave of love mixed with criticism comes from TotalVideoGames. The TVG folks have noticed the flaws, being an RPG was number one, but still liked the game enough to give it 8/10.
We personally would have liked to have seen a little more thought and attention paid to the concept of Vampires instead of relying on RPG decrees; however the game does come at a time when similar titles are thin on the ground and as we’ve said there’s not a great selection of choice when it comes to Vampire videogames.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines impresses on so many levels, but slips up on a number of important features. If you’re a fan of the subject or after a good RPG to sink into then it’s highly likely you’ll enjoy what Bloodlines offers; hopefully the next title will continue the improvements.Yeah, let's hope that the next title won't be an RPG *rolls eyes*
