Tags: Neverwinter Nights 2Bytepress, a site with color scheme much than ours, has a preview of Neverwinter Nights 2. I'm not sure how long it is because medium gray fonts on white backgrounds is a bitch to read. Anyway, I randomly cut and pasted a chunk out of it:
NWN was based on the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition rules, being the first PC game to port a D&D world in a 3D environment. NWN2 will be based on Dungeons & Dragons v3.5, which has also come to be known as the Revised 3rd Edition, due to its numerous, although minor, changes from the 3rd Edition.Actually, the first 3D D&D game was Descent to Undermountain, but no one likes to bring that one up. BioWare also probably doesn't mind taking credit for being first when they weren't.
