Our favorite developer Todd Howard has found some time in his busy schedule to answer a few IGN's questions and practice his double-speak:

How different will this version be from the others? If I've played this before, is there a reason to play it again on the PS3?

Our goal is always to make the game look and feel consistent across all platforms. We design the game we want to make and then make that game available on as many platforms as possible. So, it's the same base game as was released on PC/ 360.

Why would you play it on PS3? You might play it because you didn't get an X360 or don't own a PC that can run it and want to experience this unique RPG experience for yourself. Maybe you just want to experience the new content on your PS3. Or you're getting a PS3 as your main console and want to play Oblivion again.
Hmm, I guess targeting really stupid people does have its benefits.
