Tags: Lionheart: Legacy of the CrusaderRPG Vault has posted an interview type deal with the guys working on Lionheart. Here's some neat stuff:
Jonric: What are a couple of enemies in Lionheart that you most enjoy defeating, and what makes beating them feel special?
Ion Hardie
Co-Producer and Lead Designer, Reflexive Entertainment
There are a plenty of undead that are cool, but one of the ones that springs to mind is the Arctic Succubus. She has a very cool "icy" radial effect that follows her around and she can cast some good spells as well. A related monster, the Ethereal Succubus, is also challenging as she can move into melee range pretty quickly against the unprepared player. Her slashing attacks can be devastating.
A non-undead that is cool to fight is the Hujark Blademaster. He holds a sword in each hand and can deal some powerful fire and slashing damage. Even though his red and black armor looks great, he doesn't really try to do much else to protect himself. Thus, he has a lesser armor class than his fellows but he more than makes up for it in sheer death potential.
You know, that's an odd combination.. Arctic and Succubus. It's almost an oxymoron.
