  • What is it with me and zombie games lately? Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville released yesterday and I was up with it until 4AM.
    A horse of course

Jesus Christ. Blackguards is on sale for $11. I don't already have a backlog? Yet it's one of those Games I Really Should Play, isn't it?

If you don't have time to play it now just wait. It will probably be cheaper when you do have time to play it, and you won't have the added pressure of feeling you have to play the game because you bought it.

    Flunklesnarkin is smart.
So wow, this game Survivalist is surprisingly good. Here's what I said in the giftstravaganza thread:

I really like how you can set your "community" members to do stuff independently - like tell one guy to stockpile water and another guy to build a fence, and then meanwhile your main character can go do quests, but those guys are still walking around doing their tasks and you can jump between people at any time. It's a really interesting design.

lol, I guess not. Didn't figure it was worth making a new thread over, but also didn't want to clutter up the gift thread with this stupidity.
Lackluster stealth mechanics in POE inspired a craving for a better stealth game. Somehow this led me to play Hitman: Absolution.

Wow, I don't know why everyone is so down on this game. Blah blah blah, not the best game in the series and the writing is stupid, all true. But there's a lot of fun to be had with Absolution.
Done with KOTOR 2, just in time for Pillars of Eternity. Don't hate! POE is pretty good so far.
Trying KOTOR 2 again. Pretty fun. Why did I never finish this game back in the day, I wonder? Maybe I'll find out.

Back on the KOTOR 2 horse. A planet and a half to go. Come on Z, the writing is good enough to carry the mediocre gameplay.

Finished up - just in time for Pillars of Eternity! Pretty damn good game. Glad it's over with though.

One of my all time faves, and almost only for the writing. KOTOR made me a star wars fan after id dismissed it as space-fantasy-opera...(in the soap sense, not the Wagnerian)
