they add a sneak hotkey yet?
One of the first mods made for Kingmaker - where mods were not supported officially - was adding keys to toggle stealth and A.I. I used it for a while, then I understood that Kingmaker is not Pillars of Eternity and uninstalled it.

Distracting developers to implement a feature that a modder can create on the day 1 even without mod support while there are 2 (I think) chapters in the game that are not ready for beta testing... is not wise.

Been trying to figure out how to make a Dispel specialist now that they’ve got these prebuffed bosses and Feats that trigger off of a successful Dispel and the pickings are pretty pathetic.

Turns out none of the Caster Level/Dispel Specialist Archetypes (Eldritch Font Arcanist, Disenchanter Warpriest, and Leyline Witch) are as good as simply merging an Angel spellbook with an Oracle/Cleric for those extra four caster levels. Of course those classes can’t merge.

Disenchanter is especially sad since it has a dedicated Standard Action Dispel ability that has little chance of ever doing anything since there’s no way to enhance its effective caster level. Warpriest can’t even cast Dispel, Greater (the good one) until level 16.

Now you’d think you could combine the Goggles that give a 20 on a Dispel roll once per rest with Spell Specialization on the regular Dispel Magic that Warpriest gets at level 7 (you get the prereq Spell Focus Abjuration* as a Bonus Feat) to get the ball rolling on Dispel Synergy and Destructive Dispel (which you also get as Bonus Feats)....

But the Goggles are causing you to roll 1 instead of 20 when you can get them to activate at all.

Decent chance they’re just fucking with us.

* - this would be uniquely good in this setting if Demons still counted as Evil Outsiders since the Banishing Spells are Abjurations.

But they don’t.

Confirm that Aeon is CHR-based?

I’d like to try Skald but most important ability of whole class doesn’t work due to an “and” where an “or” should be reported months ago would easily have been caught by anyone internally playing the class.

Not even acknowledgement of problem.

Ability to share Rage Powers while performing.

Animal Totem (gives +1 Natural Armor per four lvls in class - the main one you want other than the Pounce from Greater) requires Barb level 6 and Skald level 8 and Primalist or whatever lvl 10 instead of or. So in other words impossible.

BTW Seelah can't cast or Channel while Mounted, which I like since she doesn't need to do that much and it balances some of the advantage to having the Mount.

Time to find out what Aeon does. MC:

My kinda gal. Got that Demonic Bulk in all the right places. Cleavage is on the menu boys.

Mixing things up with Lann. Hunter is like Ranger that gets the spells/pet right away and gets six levels of them in exchange for going 3/4 BAB. Extra attack from Flurry balances that out. Druid has fast spell progression but less ways to boost attacks and pet which is what you're looking for with Hunter. Going to be rounding off stats rather than getting WIS high enough to beat saves anyway.

Having a Leopard around big quality of life improvement in general, especially early.

I kept a save at Drezen so I could test these things out. I tested by setting one of my mental stats to 200, to see how each effected it (Which, by the way, mainly effects DC. You don't get more spell slots for increasing the casting stat for mythics). I can only confirm that Aeon's spells uses charisma. I haven't had time to test Mythic Suppression yet. I don't remember when's the first time you encounter a mythic enemy (I think I might take awhile) and I'm currently doing an Azata run. It may not seem like a big deal since most of Aeon's abilities and spells don't require a save, but the Aeon's big feature, Mythic Suppression, requires a will save.

Do you have a link to Aeon stuff?
Link? Most of the testing was done in my own game using mods to modify my stats and level see to see how it affects certain abilities. I can link to the mods I used to test things out.

Unity Mod Manager. Needed to use mods.

ToyBox. It basically WoTR version of Bag of Tricks mod. I used it modify my stats to test what it affects.
https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/8

Mythic Cheat Menu Lite. I used this to level up my mythic level so I can test the higher level abilities and spells.

I’m not a fan of trainers although I did some testing in P:K by retraining an old save. You really only get a feel for a class by playing it through the levels to see how it progresses so jumping ahead is of only limited value.

Was just curious about which abilities to design toward.

The Aeon is basically a mythic Inquisitor that uses charisma. Many of it's abilities are buffs and debuffs. Casters will take advantage to most of the abilities because of the DCs, but there are some abilities that martials can use better. You will want to make someone that will be near the front lines with decent charisma, maybe an archer or someone with a reach weapon so you don't have to do concentration checks. The Aeon has quite a few spells that are swift actions that allows you to still do a full attack. The gazes that Aeon gets works similar to the Inquisitor's Judgement but the buff also debuff enemies by the same amount if they fail their saves. Aeon Bane gives you bane which is more useful to martials but the Aeon spellbook can get transformation though that will disable your spells.

You might want to get abundant casting to take advantage of the swift spells and buffs/debuffs. Spellbook goes up to level 7, though there are no spells you can select that level. You just get this aeon spell that is the basically two other Aeon spells combined. Some of the spells Aeon get includes, an aura to suppress invisibility and grant you and your allies 20% concealment, swift spell debuff that causes the enemy to take damage when casting a spell, a spell that makes the target immune to all physical attacks, a spell that's basically haste allies and slow enemies combined (Slow requires a save), spell that makes a target only roll an 11 on all d20 rolls for a few rounds (No save), a spell that targets one ally or yourself that makes full attacks take a -2 to attack but BAB attacks with 10 or less to get a +5 to hit (It also doesn't allow the first attack to get the bonus, even if the BAB for the first attack is below 10). Several spells only last 1 round per 5 caster level.

I’ve got a Two-handing Bloodrager ready. Will see how it goes. Good to hear the Swift Actions, will go well with Cleaves and Charges.

Lol or course Demonic Bulk does nothing. How can you homebrew all these cool new archetypes then not bother to turn on their distinctive features?

OK boss we've gotten the new Tiefling-only custom class up, interface toggle for Demonic Bulk shows up at lvl 4 as designed, should we go ahead and also do the Enlarge effect, should be easy since we've already got the spell, etc...

Nah, we can get to that next year after we iron out the butt-fucking and Togo localization.

I would like to use the same vatnik's argument as above: bugs that can be modded out should be left to modders. Finish the main story of the game first, then polish. Only the studio can create and continue the story, and using butts one way or another is the part of the story, not of the mechanics.

Also, if a new subclass has just been introduced to a beta version then bugs, including critical ones, should be expected. There is Alt-B for that.

Having said that I admit that I am playing Kingmaker now, not the beta test.

People paid top dollar to play the beta. Let them enjoy bugs.

Missing features, including crucial features that would have been trivial to both add and test, DNE bugs. It's half-assed at best.

In any event there's still (crucial) stuff missing that was reported in alpha and repeatedly after and it's never even mentioned as a known issue. It's one thing to use your player base as beta testers. It's another to ignore their reports.
