I was obsessed with devilish hag witches that also get Frigid Touch early, before with free invis witches, and today with microscopic witches, who are also super adorable, which makes them for some reason very frightening, if you pick Raven instead of Hare anyway. You can hit +17 initiative at level 1 although that's kinda an overkill.

Take reduce and reduce yourself to be completely smol. At that point, you should be allowed to Ride your rabbit/lizard/raven :argh:
Btw lizard looks like a complete donkey, he has thing gigantic head and he almost would be better if he ran backwards, he's like dragon from Kings Bounty.

A microscopic witch: when you just need to take something out of your pocket and curse people.

I also can't get over that Gladiator gets light armor, buckler, trident and +Persuasion. I am going to use this for something somewhere.

You give Regill all the Dual Wield feats you can and watch him win the Crusade by himself. It's really not hard.

I willl say: At least they built the companions in a way that's actually useful this time around.

Yeah, most of them are decently optimised out the box this time around.

Very few odd ability distribution choices or the like.

Well, Sosiel early feats are... questionable. Extra Channel is a little useful, but meh. Medium Armor Focus? Did they never hear the term "tempo"?

Ah right, I went gnome hooked hammer route with him once I found that axiomatic one, he's a decent demon slayer if a bit squishy. I'll try dual wield next playthrough.

That's a double weapon he's using...

Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
I am reporting them often enough to politely disagree.
What kind of bugs do you mostly erncounter, dear Smilodon ((C) Pink Eye)?
Broken class mechanics? Missing UI clues? Discrepancies between descriptions and in-game work? Stacking of what should not stack and not stacking of what should?
Or are there falls into textures, disappearing companions or pets, crashes to desktop, corrupted saves?
It's kind of important.
People already mentioned falling under geometry (mostly fixed) and stretching cloaks, but there is one that drives me nuts: adding and removing new spell and abilities in Spells/Abilities menus sometimes sends those menus into what looks like endless redraw loop. And while glitched out character is selected, game's FPS plummets and the whole thing stutter like crazy. How often that happens is depends on character class of course, but that bug makes shapeshifting just... painful.

Of course there is more: my yesterday's favorite bug was from Mass Hideous Laughter spell that trickster can cast on enemy army on global map. It works ok in the first round but when enemy makes successful save later, the whole homm battle just hangs endlessly on his turn.

And today I've already encountered a giant worm in companion quest that sometimes goes under ground but never comes out and kinda unkillable if it happens. Maybe there is some trick to it but right now it looks like AI bug. And speaking about Companion quests, in Ch3 triggers for throne room and city events to start/proceed their quests seem really iffy, like not shooting half of the time if you skip too many days in Crusade Management at once or just save/load there a bit too often.

And that is not even mentioning a minor things with a cool items not working, like those Half of the Pair amulets(

The bug I've been suffering from the most is trying to cast Cure X Wounds in TB combat. You waste one turn and one cast in order to cast it on the next turn.

Yeah, I am playing mostly RTwP but TB mode is another can of bugs altogether.

But I still had experienced at least one hilarious bug with TB - it always sets as default combat mode whenever I restart the game. Of course, there is an option to do exactly that in game settings, but I do not have it switched on, I've checked.

It almost like this game tries to imply something :obviously: about my preferences.

My necromancer has finally gotten useful. The boosted skeletons are quite nice, and I got an AOE heal undead. Also can maximize lvl 3 animate dead with some rod. Also had to take in that manlet hellknight because of severe manpower shortages. The good thing is he's so small i don't even see him in the game, I only hear his banter.

The amount of bugs is really exaggerated, it's nowhere near kingmaker.
Iceplant ring says it works, but it doesn't show the bonus. Ring of the Tiefling doesn't work. Charges work, when the game wants to. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Biggest bug I found is in TB combat where sometimes one of my characters gets to act twice. Also if I start turn based combat with Wenduag shooting missiles she does Manyshot and then TB mode strarts and if she gets Initiative and goes first she shoots automatically at same target and gets more than 1 attack even with that being a Surprise round.

Taking Spell Penetration at 1st level. Classic blunder.

I thought about that, trust me. "Why sould I take a feat at level 1 that improves my ability to bypass enemies' spell resistance when I won't be encountering any foes that even have spell resistance for at least three or four more levels?"

1) I'm LARPing it as part of intense preparatory arcane research at a wizard school

2) It was a bonus wizard feat

3) I'm p. sure this is a game about fighting demons and devils, so...
hope you set it on the lowest difficulty, this game is for munchkins
That must be why I'm playing the plainest human Paladin build I can think of and so far I've breezed through the first 3 chapters without a single problem.

This game is for munchkins because Pathfinder is in itself a system prone to munchkinism, nothing more than what was already expected from the moment they said "we are going to adapt Wrath of the Righteous with a lot of mythic paths".

That Reach healing Mythic ability is one solution. Another is to not cast spells using potraits, its it buggy in TB combat. Works normally outside of combat.

The bug I've been suffering the most is fucking charge stopping without a reason 8 times out of 10.
Is this in TB? I've only had to use charge 2-3 times in Ch. 1 and I haven't noticed problems yet.

On portraits - true. On the characters - sometimes fails there as well, but less often.

I have yet to see it fail on characters, only if they are out of movement range. You cast as standard action, move as move and touch as free action. If you fail to touch, the healing spell is not wasted but goes into the middle list of abilities above the quickbar and can be used from there. That is how I healed people when I was stubbornly trying to use portraits during combat. In one patch they said they fixed portrait buffing but I guess not...

Exactly, PF:WoTR is a great power fantasy but not a great adventure per say.

But I disagree that Pathfinder is that prone to pun pun builds. I'm playing Kingmaker in unfair as a Thassilonian Specialist(necromancer), many people argue that Thassilonian specialist is the worst wizard specialization. And I'm having a lot of fun. Din't min maximized anything in my char. I'm not exploiting the broken sneak attack and picking AT levels.

Halfling prophet. You want all demons to die from laughter?
When I read Ember's exposition, I always think of that pre-release stream of Torment: Tides of Numenara, where Pat Roothfuss quite literally burst into tears over one NPC backstory. He was really living through it, and the average player would just rage over the shameless loredump. :D

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath

But isn't that exactly how the spells work?

Both harm and cure are cast and *then* you have to make a touch attack, i believe thats how it is written in the rules for the spell you can also see that it will happen due to the red circle on the target when trying to cast the spell. The reason why you cast it and can't get to the target is the lack of movement range, I am pretty sure you can even storage a harm or Cure spell in between fights, even though I believe you can not cast it without a target which means outside of TB combat that you will always resolve it.

Daerans "boundless healing" (i believe) also makes cure spells ranged which stops this from happening.

I thought the casting and the touch on a willing creature happen in the same turn. Yeah, boundless healing is the first thing I take with Daeran.

that reach calculation also fails when you want to interact with objects while mounted
sometimes game says, "you are in range, interact" and character cant reach, thus they get softlocked, unable to take any action until someone else clicks on that action and "frees" mounted character
