Reddit is about the correct intellectual level for people who like Wrath, yes.

The '90's: "Time is not your enemy. Forever is."

The 2020's: "[Insert your D&D reference for middle-class-and-above white people here] SUCK, haha, amirite, LMAO XDDDD"

Boy, I sure do love progress!

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
I know this sounds retarded, but bear with me: has anybody tried to use the Rune Domain (as any class, but most likely as a Cleric)? Does anyone know if the traps pierce SR?

If yes, you would use Transcendent Element, and with just 1 point of damage you could stop regeneration(s) and stuff.

Like... the most useless domain ever could be... the best domain ever? Let me know if anyone knows.

Here he is -- Agdomenai, my LG, Human, Noble Spell Master Wizard.

Having spent nearly a complete lifetime acting as diplomatic emissary for his country of birth, Agdomenai learns of the incredible World Wound and its profound effects on the land and decides to turn away from a lavish career hobnobbing with delegates towards a new life of arcane study, adventure, and danger.

Little does he know now, as an eager, still relatively young (at heart) man, that he eventually would betray his own beliefs and morals to justify what, in his mind, is a still-righteous campaign against the demonic hoards invading the land by giving himself over to the horrifying and wholly irredeemable existence of...

...lichdom.

Playing at custom difficulty level, many of the handholding options turned off, going in relatively blind. Although I am prepared to make the choice to become evil when I must.

Wish me luck.

Is trickster good for casters? Like Azata and Lich?
Yes, in very specific ways. Trickster lacks straighforward ways to make your spells stronger. Nothing that can really compare with spellbook merging, favourable magic or Demon's DC bonuses. Trickster is rather focused on utility, perks, and doing the impossible.

The Big Thing(tm) that Trickster does is the Improved Critical line of feats, which is much more valuable for a melee guy with a scythe, but increasing a ray's critical damage multiple and reaching 15-20, 1 rolls to confirm a critical with hellfire ray is just nasty. Likewise the Big Deal with the Trickster's spellbook are Ray of Halberds and Trick Fate, which should delete anything in the game by themselves. Sneaky Quack can be combined with Vampiric Shield for self heals and the extra Sneak Dice are nothing to sneeze at. Like Lich, the Trickster gains free sneak dice, meaning you don't need that rogue/vivi level to spec into AT, which is nice.

Beyond that, for more castery things you got the Completely Normal spell metamagic, which lets you memorize spells at a -1 to their spell level so at-will Magic Missiles as a cantrip for fun, extra versions of every non DC based spell at a lower CL. Hastes with level 2 slots, Scorching Rays with level 1s, etc. UMD 1 combined with Scroll Savant can let you reach CL25+ and 24hour buffs like Lich and Angel can. UMD2 gives you infinite wand casts, which while kinda useless for offense (low CL means bad penetration), is nice for buffs. UMD3 gives you a Wizard spellbook, so you have 3 spellbooks at the end of the game. I can't imagine a Trickster caster ever running out of spells. Athletics 2 and Mobility 3 can let a high INT caster with lots of skill points just ignore AC and Saves. Athletics 3 gives you an easy way to be gestalt without sacrificing a single wizard level. Stealth 2 might be an easy way to set up sneak attacks. Stealth 3 just gives you a lot of spell resistance. And Persuasion 1 conveniently shakes down your enemies, meaning they'll have -2 to all saves, which is a bonus.

All this without mentioning how the secret feats and Knowledge Arcana weapons are all buffing the whole party through the game.

Now all they gotta do is fix all the above + respeccing.

Is this why Student of War sounds really good for Trickster? I plan to go Trickster last, but that's the word on the street. :P
With the right weapon type and all the secret feats, plus World 2 turning your critical 1s into critical 20s you can reach a threat range of 11-20, 1. You're already critting all the fucking time. But then you go and add Student of War's +3 to critical rolls, AND the ability to remove the enemy's crit immunities and it's over. Provided you can hit them, they die. Simple as.

Does anyone know if the "enemy behavior" option in difficulty setting actually does anything? I have some possible candidates:
The big treant in Wintersun using overrun
The incubus in Blackwater using hide in plain sight
Can somebody confirm whether they do that without this option turned on?

Could also take levels in archer magus and deliver ranged spells through crossbows instead. They have 19-20 crit range, rays crit on 20. Or some ranged unique that has base 18–20. And magus has some synergy with trickster anyway since he has wand-specific talents.

Don't know how that item boosting thing works for tricksters, says it adds new magic effects on identified weapons. Does that include random chance for "lethal" modifier?

Seems like it just gets AI to rush the backline if they get a chance. Otherwise, I don't really notice anything on RTWP. Maybe on TB it's different. But I don't know why you'd want to play TB on for anything but a handful of fights.
