"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Where do my posts go ?

Some of my posts vanished. Is it normal that things get deleted without any notice ? That is very confusing especially when its older posts and one tries to look something up. A word of warning or notice would be nice if the moderation decides to delete content.

Is that Ronald Reagan ?
Are you serious or is this some nonsense post ? I see no such place. My user content shows nothing. The posts are simply gone.

Retardoland (and some other boards) is very real, but it is only available to accounts that are > 1 year old, or to those who donated money (the ones that have the Patron tag).

(I guess this only counts for typical moderator actions, if you delete your own crap its probably gone?)

So the moderators move the thread/posts to a part of the forum which I can't access and that causes them to vanish from my contents list without notice. That is not a good feature.

If you become fed up with Moderators abusing their powers but you still like to discuss gaming content, or all manner of things actually there's a nice and liberal forum - somewhat of an insider tip really!
It's called Resetera. One of the last bastions of true freedom on the interwebs.

I see one post you made today here and three more you made yesterday here, here and here.

Are there supposed to be more?

It is policy here at RPG Codex not to outright delete any content unless it's egregiously against our rules. Generally, anything we find particularly distateful and/or retarded does indeed go to Retardo Land, but I see no posts of yours currently there.

Maybe the problem is on your end?

The first post of mine in the anime-should-be-banned thread is no longer visible to me. I get a 'You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.' when I try to follow the link. The post is also no longer listed in 'Your contents'. So from my side it looks as if its gone for good without any notice. I know that there are forum parts that are unavailable but I didn't expect that posts moved there would vanish without trace on my side. The post is not important but It happened before without me realizing it and I had no clue what happened. I wasn't sure if my memory was playing tricks on me or if some "creative moderation" took place. But yesterday I recognized my post vanishing. Some sort of notice when this happens would be good. Or it should simply remain listed in the 'Your contents' page.

Other people with access to all parts of the forum can see them, I am aware of that now. But I cannot. That is the whole point. The user ->myself<- does no longer see the posts or can see that he made them. They get purged from my own contents page. Take a look, the red line indicates where one of the missing posts should be,

This does not affect accounts older than 1 year if I understand it correctly when they view my page. But for a new user it looks for all intents and purposes as if the post vanished or was deleted. I see no purpose in hiding/removing them from the contents page of the user that made them, even if he has not yet access to the forum where the posts were moved to.

I am sure it is the will of the machine spirit!
Have you considered worshipping the Emperor of Mankind?

That might be for the best, slowly but steadily I feel the warp overtaking me in this maze of torment.

This is how the forum software works. It doesn't make special exceptions.

The first post I linked to is in a thread that was originally located in Site Feedback, which is a public forum and can be viewed by anyone.

It got moved from Site Feedback into General Discussion, which is a "premium" forum. You have to have been a member here for one year or have payed for Patronage if you want to be able to see anything in there (trust me, you don't).

I hope this helps clear up your confusion on the matter.
