Earlier this month, Josh Sawyer gave a presentation about Project Eternity at the GDC Next convention. Unfortunately, the gaming journalism industry was being its usual self that day and the presentation was not really recorded properly by anyone. In the meantime, howver, you can view his presentation slides yourself at the GDC Vault. It's not really possible to understand much of what he talked about from the slides, but, oh wow, these screenshots:

YES! The presentation itself is also available at the Vault, but it's behind a paywall. Anybody want to leak it?

If nothing else, at least it will look good. Portraits look kinda Biowarish, though.

Considering how much bigger the game got over the kickstarter campaign I'd be very surprised if it released in 2014.

The original release date was April 2014 so a late 2014 release date isn't out of the question even after a lengthy delay.

I'm expecting it to be an early 2015 game, although a late 2014 release would be very, very nice :D

The "feel" part is definitely there; I'm getting a strong IWD vibe from the GUI stuff and I like that; IWD was a beautiful, beautiful game.

I really hope the soundtrack is as good as the visuals appear to be.

They took 4 times the money, but the team is also bigger than they initialy planed. While the can take their time, they cannot delay it infinetly," it's done when it's done". They are not Blizzard.

In one of the latest updates they posted a pic of their schedule, rough math suggests the current target is late 2014.

All they gotta do is keep delaying South Park

So good, I almost choked on excitement. Such a pity that it will suffer from Sawyerist balancing crap.
