I really like the design on these:

Good to see some things going beyond done-to-death european fantasy.

Shoot me, but I would have preferred the clothing/armour more to look like traditional fantasy. :/

everything else looks fantastic though.

something was gnawing on me but I didn't think of it until now:
people in this game are standing with their legs way too far apart. man it's pretty irritating now when I think about it. every single person with the same pose.
oh and the blue selection circles. really ought to be green.

Stances are probably temp - The Devs are actually really sensitive to those issues though so if you get Infinitron or someone to make a thread about it on the Eternity forums they'll probably read it ;)
Complaints about the shadows on the Eternity forums made them re-think them, I *think* they're doing blob shadows now instead.

I agree about the selection circles and have insisted many times that we get the option for legacy colors but I have been ignored and Josh is colorblind (he can't see green).

Josh and Tim are both colorblind, they have no reason to cater to color-privileged eyes.

The problem with all the IE games was that the spell effects always looked like they didn't belong, and felt like slapped unto the scenery. I get the same feeling for what is shown on the screenshot. The effects are probably placeholder, but i wish they would do something more inline with the 2D hand painted aesthetic of the game.

That would be a really smart move. We had an option to change colors of UI in F:NV and I don't really see why they wouldn't implement that feature in PE.

Yeah, I wanted to point that out as well but didn't care enough to do it. The Witcher 2 and Flesh+Blood are also great examples of somewhat similar and historically correct depictions of that era's wardrobe. The shit we see in most fiction completely misses the point and makes it look like everyone wore some stupid rags instead of proper clothes.

Or, in the case of BioWare fantasy, everybody wears designer clothing.

I thought Albanian at first look but that doesnt seem to be the case. Cant really place that style directly at the moment but it might be a combination of several traditional clothing from cultures in that general area.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
Seems to be progressing nicely.

I didn't notice until I read your post. I can't stop seeing it now.

That actually looks a lot like east europian (bulgarian or romanian) traditional clothing.

That's because it is inspired by eastern european clothing.
That's how sad High Fantasy has become, crossing a river leads to amazingly exotic worlds.

Wouldn't that be a Miyazaki film?

The game is looking good, and thank fuck that they decided to go with blob shadows instead spending time on graphics, where they already shine in that respect. Content and combat are vital for this game.
