"Buy"
Only reason I'll even bother torrenting it is residual goodwill/nostalgia from Daggerfall and Morrowind.

This. I mean, I will definitely give it a go out of nostalgia and even buy it if it (haha) turns out to be a good game, but hey, the chances are pretty low with the current Bethesda.

It's an exploration game for Christ's sakes. Do you really want to explore a gameworld that looks like this? Does everyone on this site? There must be something wrong with you guys then.

Tell me...did you even bother to read other peoples topics or posts before deciding to post here? It's actually pretty obvious how anti-bethesda we are here. What the fuck did you expect? Sunshine and circle-jerks all around?

I change my vote, I'll buy it if it has tastefully done rape.

Edit:

Unless Volly likes the way NPCs are written, then I'm not buying it no matter how tastefully done the rape is.

Nope. The only TES game I bought was Morrowind when released (maybe not day 1 but definitely day 2 or 3) and Tribunal. Was going t get Bloodmoon but couldn't find it where I lived so I pirated it instead. Annoys me to this day that I don't have the complete original boxed Bloodmoon.

I'll pirate this and be glad of the savings as with Oblivious. Even if it ends up against all odds being at least as good as Morrowind, I'll just wait for the GOTY edition with all the exp/DLC.

No point buying the stock game anymore as you don't get a box full of goodies like in the past to make it worthwhile as compared to a barebones budget release and with the DLC culture these days you seem to get less and less game as well. In the past you'd have an expansion to give new areas and maybe add really impressive requested features. Now you need DLC just to get a proper ending of vanilla. Fuck that.

It is? You guys are hilarious. You wear your hate like it's some kinda silly badge of honor, ignoring the fact that some people here in this very thread say that they like Bethesda games. You hate Bethesda games yet very few people said that they won't be getting it. The rest are eager to pirate it while telling each other how much they despise Bethesda of course.

Eventually yeah I will buy the game. I have bought lots of crappy games for cheap even if it is a few years down the road.

Maybe at $5 when nobody cares about its sales anymore. I haven't bought S;RPG or FO:NV and I actually like those companies.

What the fuck man. What a weak troll thread. Last time I bought a game was 1998

Nice. The last time I bought a game was 2007.

Most of them aren't even worth downloading and wasting my motherfucking time with anymore.

This. Though I finished the Oblivion MQ so... unless the Skyrim one is much longer I'll probably do that too. Unless it's even worse than Ob.

Never. I don't think I'll even bother downloading it since it'll probably weight something over 10GB. Only thing that would make me try it is positive reception here. Though in this case I'll probably will be falling for troll.

No. No point, considering the quality of their previous offerings. Still, if I absolutely HAD to buy one of the turds coming out this year, it would be Skyrim. Sad.

It's a maybe right now. I like quite a bit of what I've seen, but that's hardly enough to put together a real picture of the product. It certainly won't be a day one purchase, but very little is for me.

I'll Steam it just to fight the good fight with PC game sells. Besides I thought MW and Oblivi were both good. Had fun with Daggerfall before I had to dump my PC.

It isn't. It's an attempt at massive, open world with possible few cut-downs and simplifications. With embedded so-so, but masochistically fun dungeon-crawls and some good intrigue.

Morrowind - a handmade game with lots of hidden stuff is largely an exploration game.
Daggerfall with its mostly generated content and rich world mechanics (I'm speaking of stuff like factions, banking, diseases crime and so on), and stunningly flexible chargen was aiming at providing cRPG with possibly few limitations - quite successfully.

Do you really want to explore a gameworld that looks like this? Does everyone on this site? There must be something wrong with you guys then.
Also, grapicswhore.

Won't buy and won't pirate unless I have a good reason to believe it's not as bad as Oblivion and Fallout 3 were.
