For me, it's more like:

1. Click on a link and it refuses to load.
2. 10 seconds later it works fine.
3. 10 seconds after that it stops working again.

Rinse and repeat.

Codex pages load like I'm back on an AOL server from 1993! I know that we love nostalgia around here but this is a little overboard don't you think?

I notice the issues more often if I'm using the Codex on my phone, but even on my PC, basically, it'll work fine for awhile then every few minutes it'll chug trying to decide whether it wants to actually load the thread I clicked on, or post the rating I clicked on, etc.

It seems like it's more often now, but the duration/severity of the slowdowns is less significant. e.g. now it might "pause" for like 3-5 seconds whereas before it could be like a 30-60 seconds.

We're currently asking the United States for HIMARS so we can retaliate but Joe Biden forgot what day it is so we had to push the meeting back.

If that helps, static files are impacted by slowdowns too, for example: https://rpgcodex.net/robots.txt

This indicates that this is likely not a PHP or database issue, but a problem with Apache web server, network bandwidth or a disk (array) that website files are stored on.
