Why or why not? I posted similar polls for Baldur's Gate 3 here, Starfield here, and Colony Ship here. This one is anonymous, as I get a feeling, judging by the main threads popularity, that there are a good deal of closet Veilguard hopefuls that may change their vote if it was public.

I played DAO all the way through. It was fine. Not amazing, but not as bad as some people say here.

DA:2 I could only play for about 2 or 3 hours before giving up completely out of boredom. It was like biting into a hamburger and only tasting styrofoam.

About DA:I, I managed to play a bit more, but I got it for free, which certainly helped. But when I saw that it was essentially a single-player MMO with goals as useless or more useless than what we got in Ubisoft games, I abandoned it and never went back to it.

DA:V looks like DA:I had a child with a mobile game and was adopted by a colorful-haired they/them from Twitter and indoctrinated for years. You'd have to pay me to play this, it's not even worth the effort to pirate.

It would be probably infected by Denuvo, and there are group that can remove that shit, so I'd wait until I'd play my backlog, get offline patch, and I have time to play previous game.

I can't see a single redeeming element in the game (aside from that it might finally kill BioWare). Awesome-button action combat, uncontrollable companions, romance, extreme wokery, clusterfuck UI, garish colors on everything. I didn't even like Origins, the "good" Dragon Age game; I'm not going to play this slop. I'm not even going to watch somebody stream it. Seriously, stop encouraging "anti-woke" streamers to play known garbage. I don't want the degenerate developers to get a single dime from this.

I see that I voted in all these 3 polls incorrectly...

Colony Ship: voted Yes; but I didn't play it.
Starield: voted Yes; but I didn't play it.
BG3: voted No; but I played it and completed it.

I'm voting "No" for Dragon Age, but that makes me fearful for my future.

I look forward to the Dialogue Reactivity and Depth Comparison of Dragon Age Games thread.

I pirated DA2, tried to like it and quit after 12 hours. I pirated DAI thinking I'd give Bioware a second chance and quit after 6 hours. At best I might pirate DAV for a little bit just to see how bad it is first hand. There does not exist a scenario where those libcuck Canucks get my money or where I finish their shitty game.

Pretty sure no one is going to bother cracking this turd's denuvo. Which is how you know that anyone who claims to play this game "for free" will be a lying biowhore enabler.

I thought it was going to be "so bad it's funny" territory, then the actual trailers came out.

Now I'm in the "too cringe to even watch on youtube" territory.

At this point, DA4 is an interesting market experiment to see if the modern audience actually exists.

To my shame I played the series up to and including Inquisition. I've learned my lesson. This game isn't for me, it's for homosexuals and women who just want to play an interactive romance novel. So no.

No, the Fortnite art-direction and ugly female characters already kill my interest, I may not be as elitist as other codexers but even my standard is not that low.

You are the problem.

He didn't say he bought them.
It's Pedora, he pre-ordered every single Strapon Age deluxe edition, and then played it on launch counting minutes until it unlocks.

Then posted how much he hates biowhore on le Godex. Then started counting days until he can pre-order the expansion, and then the sequel. He is currently jittery from anticipation of October 31.

Liked a bit DA:O, is not a masterpiece but is not bad. Dropped DA:2. Dropped DA:I and will not play this shit. Criticizing the game in other hands seems fun.

EDIT : Before people judgme for buying DA:2 and Inquisition, I brought both with a huge discount in Argentine pesos.

I've played but never bought DAO or DAII, but I did buy DAI recently for about $10. I have no regrets.

I will never buy, play, or watch a stream of DAV. Maybe a supercut of hilarious cringe fails, if it's under 15 minutes.

I played the first Dragon Age and... it just did not do it for me. Though I'm just so fucking sick of Fantasy™ settings and hoped they might try and do something different. I'm just still waiting for someone to just do a different take on the boring fantasy setting and do something new and actually really interesting with it. Will pass.

I played DAO and thought it was mid. There were some interesting elements to it (origin stories, some of the C&C, and the programmable combat system) that I would have liked to see develop further, but a lot of the moment to moment gameplay was just a slog.

DA2 dropped all the stuff I thought was promising from DAO and replaced it with map reuse abuse and Awesome Button, so I skipped it.

I'm sorry to say I did buy DAI in a fit of manic optimism and played it. Companions ranged from bland to actively offensive, combat and itemization were simplified, and the world was packed with bear ass quests. (No, not the BG3 kind, the MMO kind.) The story was thin at best. By the end, finishing it was a bloody act of will.

I've learned my lesson. I am no longer in Bioware's target market. They are neither capable nor interested in making a game that appeals to me, and indeed seem actively hostile to the idea. So fuck 'em. I'm done.

I've seen a gameplay trailer, and it was a console-style game. It seems that they give you companions which cannot seriously hurt enemies. but themselves cannot die.

There won't be DRM-free version.

And I try to stay away from games published by EA since they've botched release of Ultima IX Ascension.

Dragon age origins is the only decent game in the series. DAI bored me to tears. Not sure about the recent one
