The only thing I'm gonna play is the 2 hours long cringe compilation.

Nah I don't think it was made for the flavor of RPG the majority of us around here prefer. Everything I've seen looks so unappealing and theme-parky and the UI looks trashy enough where it would get on my nerves.

Why or why not? I posted similar polls for Baldur's Gate 3 here, Starfield here, and Colony Ship here. This one is anonymous, as I get a feeling, judging by the main threads popularity, that there are a good deal of closet Veilguard hopefuls that may change their vote if it was public.
Yes, I play all Bioware games

But it will be years after release with mods and on a sales special

I will say lots of people on Codex said they would never play BG3, like Fedora Master, and literally spent years complaining about how shit it was going to be but when the game was released they ended up playing it

So I think there is a lot of drama and unrealistic comments around " I wont play this game "

If you say you not going to play a game then try to be consistent and DONT play the game

The game just doesn't look interesting as it been too long since their last game.

Not to mention it being increasingly another dumbed-down action RPG instead of the traditional party-based CRPG of the old Bioware fame.

No. I loved Dragon Age: Origins, was very excited about DA2, played it for 3 hours or something and was extremely disappointed. So I didn't play Inquisition and not gonna play this Veligard thing.

I suspect most haters buy the game anyway, the only thing these pubs give a fuck about are the sales numbers - someone must buy it.

We'll see if the romohomos and foids are enough of an audience to keep this game profitable. They might not be, but then again BG3 gave us a surge of exactly those people.

I won't be playing this just like I didn't play Inquisition. There doesn't seem to be anything in this game that I value and the things that are in there turn me off. For Inquisition it was boring time wasting single player MMO dessign and for this it's basically everything. Bad action combat, Lore Rape, downgraded and watered down artstyle, no control over companions, why even call this Dragon Age it shares next to nothing with it's predecessors.
For the record I did play and finish DA2 but even my tasteless and underdeveloped brain at the time tought it was shit, I did not know at the time that was mostly due to budget and time constraints but at the end of the day it must be judged for what it is and it just wasn't very good. Back then I still had hope for DA3 though, which by now is long gone. Even ignoring all their woke crap they just can't make a decent game to begin with anymore at Bioware.

I haven't played a Bioware game since NWN days. I don't support them anymore, because their products seem to be not interesting to me.

I played DAO for around 3 hours, probably the worst rpg I have ever played.

Never bothered finishing it or with the sequels.

I'm not going to play it personally but I can see that many people will out of sheer curiosity.
Don't buy it on sale.
If it will be impossible to pirate it, the next best thing to do (if you really really want to play it for whatever reason) is to buy it second hand from some retard.
No new sale for the studio.

If it doesn't have Denuvo, and the critical updates get cracked fast, yes.

I don't believe people when they write shit like this. The first few hours of DA2 were hype. It takes at least twice that much to figure out you are staying in town, the encounters and zones are recycled, the random paratrooper drop enemies are dull, the auto-attack is annoying, the plot is stupid, etc.
I think you are projecting your ultimate feelings about the game after 30+ hours to the start, or worse, projecting what you've read other people say on your own emotions.

Inquisition on the other hand is front loaded with busy work, introduces some systems and mechanics slowly, you get your base/subclass potentially 20 hours into the game, depending on how much chores you do. Then it has a good middle, and fails again after that. In that game, you can say you played for 3 hours and hated it and dropped it.

I completed DAI (once, I'm not that far into masochism to replay it ever again) but before I did, I bounced off once or twice from the very prologue of the game.

It was so freaking generic with some demons dropping out of cosmic vaginas and introduced me to the game's boring low lethality combat that couldn't quite make up its mind whether it wanted to be tactical rtwp like DAO or real time like DA2 so it failed in both regards.

Once I managed to soldier through it, the rest of the game was bearable, sometimes even decent (dwarven dlc), but combat remained poor until the very end. Now matter how many skills my PC and companions amassed, it was still slow and painfully boring.

Dragon age Inquisition 2 : all the green is purple now. I'd rather clean an outhouse with a curly straw.

DA:O was just OK. Maybe decent, but still not compelling enough to try later additions to the franchise. Based on everything I've seen and read, DA:O was the high-point of the series anyway.
