Avowed character creation has pronouns - Elon Musk disapproves, Obsidian art director disapproves of his disapproval

You guys ever think about the absurdity of the world's richest man spending his free time shitposting on RPGs?

How about some dude poking the world's richest man on social media, only to get noticed and have his boss's boss's boss brought in on the conversation.

What is this world?

:shredder:
The world's richest man who also has the ear of the incoming president and helps shape his policy.

I want to see federal agents raid Obsidian and throw Feargus in jail.

:shredder:

But I'll settle for games being less pozzed.

From an alleged recent interview with Tobi of Warhorse, KCD2 team, when asked if they're worred about the release window.

I'm also asking because the Assassin's Creed and Avowed are there now, so no reason to worry?
Tobi: Maybe for them.
Yay, I get to re-use this:

Yeah it isn't an isolated problem. The vast majority of employees at these gaming studios tend to follow each other on social media and they are not subtle about their opinions. The only logical conclusion, then, is that this stuff was noticed long ago and approved of actively...as evidenced by Josh Sawyer choosing to retweet at least one of the particularly unhinged posts.

It's the same with every major company. Square Enix? Wuk Lamat's voice actor from Final Fantasy XIV has daily meltdowns and aggressively attacks fans. Yoshi-P came out defending the individual in question and tried to play off any and all criticism as 'transphobia' like the slimy little grifter he is.

Blizzard? They hired nutters like Madeline Roux to write supplementary material despite a very obvious online trail of anti-white and anti-men rhetoric.

It's why everyone has a moral obligation to laugh in the face of anyone who tries to play off criticism of pronouns as an over-exaggeration. It's very much a clear sign that a game is infested with unhinged idealogues.

The 'muh both sides in da cultur war' is nonsensical, too. For two reasons. One being that someone criticising progressive ideology going too far does not equal someone being automatically 'Far Right' despite what the compromised mainstream media desperately tries to pretend. Then of course there's the simple fact that the majority of legitimate conservatives as well as many 'normies' just want to be left the hell alone and would rather not see every hobby of theirs hijacked with the goal of catering solely to autogynephiles and their loyal allies.

Also to add on to what you're saying, there is a culture of "positivity" in studios where no 'negative criticism' is allowed, as reported by people who worked making the Concord game, and also present in Ubisoft. They are, literally, not allowed to be "negative" at work, criticizie project goals, the game direction, etc. Everyone is mandated to be 'supportive' of the project's direction.

Should we be impressed ? Veilguard exists after all, the bar for Ultra-woke is now pretty high.

If they achieve to make the setting even more subversif for whatever tribalistic reasons, then I do not know whether I shoud pity Sawyer or laugh at him. He must know, somehow, somewhere, in the deep recess of his soul, that his creation is probably getting raped and that he probably can not do much to stop it.

Now my morbid curiosity is aroused and I am expecting an enjoyable dumpster fire.
No, it isn't. We're not doing the Overton Window with "woke" degeneracy and ugliness. If we do, you will be accepting pedophilia in games in a few years.
Have you seen Bluesky? There's a huge push to normalize pedophilia over there, they are open about it. That is their goal, to normalize it.

why is this guy hating on Elon Musk?
He's Jewish, big nose, dark semitic beard, semi-arabic skull (think Andrew Tate)
Not jewish. The phenotype in question is a typical Alpinid, the nose is not dinaricized like in case of Armenids, the skull is not dolichocephalic as you claim. Follicle pigmentation is, of course, a trait of secondary anthropologic significance, lest you'd want to claim that all Italians or all Greeks are jewish. As an adminicle to corroborate my claim, Hansen is not a jewish surname.

That's just a standard faggot.

I find Musk irritating but you'd really think that the art director would have the sense not to pick a fight with an extremely powerful and equally petty billionaire just a few months before the game releases. If you absolutely must take a shot back then wait until your game has released so you don't mire it in drama before anyone has even had a chance to play it and judge it on its merits.

They lost the election so they’re chimping out, trying to grab whatever small pathetic victory they can to “own the chuds.”

Edit: Case in point is Morgoth running defense like a little bitch.

If a couple words on a screen is what counts as "preaching" then we're not even having a serious conversation. You're just looking for something to be miserable about.
I'm sure you're fine with the wokes shoving troon propaganda down our throats but normal people are fed up with it. Game devs and Hollywood forgot that their main goal is entertainment, not preaching.

Non-binary. This is “a couple words on a screen“.

This is my take as well. Like what on earth compels you to post something like that before a project that involved hundreds of people and multiple years is released? Like you have to know that it's going to be damaging to some extent to the effort that a lot of other people put in and is through no fault of their own.

Non-binary. This is “a couple words on a screen“.

This is a subtitle of a voice-acted and performance-captured scene. Not even close to something that just appears on your character sheet. Not even close to the same thing. We can have a discourse but don't be an idiot. If Avowed has anything like this I'll gladly eat crow.

There Morgoth stood at last at bay, and yet unvaliant. He fled into the deepest of his mines, and sued for peace and pardon; but his feet were hewn from under him, and he was hurled upon his face.

It won't match Veil guard pozziness. I doubt there will be a creature that orders you to do push up for not living their deviant fantasy. The game has options were you can be asshole and antagonistic to companions.

It seems people are clutching at straws regarding this game.
How would you know? Until veilguard released, no one actually thought the push up thing would be in-game.

Considering what obsidian devs are saying publicly, I would expect the worse and hope for the best.
Plus we know they are actively trying to deceive the public, since they wouldn't let the previews show character creation. Makes you wonder what else they are hiding.

They clearly know no-one wants it otherwise they wouldn't be actively hiding it. Which means they are consciously hostile to the audience.

Maybe it involves spoilers. They did embargo the prologue as well. And, well, the entire rest of the game outside of the first zone.

How can there be spoilers in character creation before the game even starts? That's dumb

The irony of Muskrat having to pay for this guy's legal fees when he sues for wrongful termination over a tweet
