I put on pause half way through (I am in some caves with a ghost Dragon). Main reason why, is that there is too much content per map, it is very unBG1 like.

It all feels very artificial with often unconnected things being two screen away from each other.

I don't get it...

What is so confusing, I am the group of players that enjoyed BG1 more than BG2 for the free roaming and low level D&D combat. This expansion plays more like BG2 but much worse. It is still better than Dragon Age and modern shit but not as good as I hoped.

What does free-roaming and low-level combat have to do with "too much content", exactly?

Same as in PoE. You cannot move two steps on SoD maps without running into next pack of enemies or next quest. That is too much content. And Low level combat is where you don't need to run with buffs and combat ends fast and is very deadly even without spellcasters. SoD is full of not such content.

That's content DENSITY. Not how much of it there is.

What's density multiplied by size (of maps in this case)?

Density... multiplied by size... Do you mean "divided"? What are you saying?

Jesus Christ, are you retarded? He is saying content = "content density" times "map size". So, to spell it out, high content density means much content given a constant map size. How can you not understand something that trivial and still be able to post on the internet?

And actually "process" is really the wrong word here -- what you're trying to say is something like "decipher" or "comprehend". A process is a series of things which are occurring. Is your tiny brain able to read the dictionary?

Are you able to read the dictionary?

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/process
process
verb pro·cess
Definition of process
[...]
(2): to integrate sensory information received so that an action or response is generated <the brain processes visual images relayed from the retina>
(3): to subject to examination or analysis <computers process data>

Well, words can have more than one meaning, who would have guessed? Maybe you are not as educated as you think you are...

Still too much, two games made worse and one that is more of a glorified mod than anything isn't worth 16 euros, Beamdog should stop stealing other people work and actually start working for reals.
