Well the BG1ee sold like 1 mill. copies, and since this is apparently a dlc and you have to own the first game to play it, I don't think sales will ever go over 500.000... which is still way more than Beamdog deserves, though.

To play this game I would have to repurchase a game I already own and then on top of that buy an expansion to a game that I didn't like that much (BG2 crushes BG1) that may or may not be shit. I hope Amber Scott can learn to step off of her pedestal. She seems to think (from her interviews and such) that she is a magnificent writer and everyone who doesn't like her writing is a bigot. Hopefully she can be humble enough to learn from this debacle and we can get better writing without any characters who are shoved into the game in a botched attempt at inclusiveness.

She pointed out a couple of legitimate sexists tropes in BGI and said that SoDs writing would not incorporate them. That's it. It's Gamergate losers who are trying to paint her as a radical feminist boogeywoman.

Thing is, everything is sexist to them. I recently got Safana with me as a NPC. She seems to be as a very capable, seductive and foxy character (clever like a fox) with great skills in her carreer as a thief. 1 Sexy thief among 20 i n the cast, where non really is as "Bioware deep" as some would want them to be, makes her go apeshit. Funny.

Its not only her, 99% of video game writers think they are all the shit until the write their first book and it's complete and utter crap.
